After playing between Pokello and Fatima for weeks indecisively, Elikem seems to have had his love path chosen by providence since Fatima was eliminated.

The stage has been automatically set for himself and Pokello to develop their affection and they are not slacking at all!

Elikem seems to know exactly how to woo a good woman, no indecent scandalous acts, just straight out lovey dovey and sweet nothings. Isn’t that what we all want in a man? Sensitivity and cute moves.

BIG BROTHER AFRICA SEASON 8: The Chase-Heads Of House Throw Nomination Curveballs As Ghana’s Selly Comes Up For Eviction!

The battle lines have been well and truly drawn on Big Brother: The Chase! Six housemates are up for eviction this week after a day of nominations on Monday that seemingly saw relationships and beefs defining housemates’ choices. Once the dust had settled and the Heads of House had both made sensational ‘save & replace’ decisions, Selly, Melvin, Annabel, Cleo, Natasha and Pokello are in the firing line this week.

Both Heads of House dropped bombshells after Big Brother announced the nomination results. Diamond HoH Melvin sensationally decided to leave the nominations as they stood – meaning that he is up for possibly eviction after his housemates nominated him. Cleo received six nominations, with some housemates citing her as a threat to their chances of picking up the USD 300 000 prize. Annabel was next up with four nominations. Feza called her the “weakest link” while Bassey told Big Brother that he hated how she never cleaned up after herself when she was done in the kitchen.

In the Ruby house, Oneal decided to save Elikem and replaced him with Selly – keeping his word that he would not punish Elikem for swapping his love interest Feza to the Diamond house last week. Pokello and Natasha had picked up the most nominations, four each, while Sulu received two nominations, with Oneal picking up one.

Obviously there will be only 1 winner at the end of the day in the Big Brother house.

Everyone is in for the final cash and every week will bring with it the heartbreak of eviction.

It never ceases to amaze me when people cry over another housemate leaving because they are friends, a bit pretentious if you ask me because fact is, it is a competition and if people leave you behind, it only draws you closer to the final and to the money right?

Well this evening was another teary goodbye as the housemates said good bye to Fatima and Hakeem amidst tears. Hakeem who had been put up by Head of House Melvin could not believe it when he learnt he had been evicted.

With Hakeem out of the game, we cannot help but wonder what will become of Cleo whom he married during the week in an emotional Big Brother wedding. We hope she doesn’t end up trying to catch any other male housemate while her lover is out there watching. He admitted to IK on stage that he and Cleo were as real as it gets but he cannot say exactly what will happen to them after Big Brother because he is waiting for her to help him decide. Melvin was uncontrollable as he said he thought Africa would save him.

During the week, Selly got thrown many questions from fellow housemates about her intimacy with Nando. And she proclaimed it was merely her game plan.

Well today, she is in tears because fellow housemates have continued gossiping about she and Nando’s ‘Tango’. In fact, the housemates just keep brewing up more and more rumours about she and Nando.

Today, Angelo decided to broach the subject again and Selly totally flared up. I guess her mood wasn’t as good as that of earlier. She was furious, and made it a point to stress that nothing at all happened between she and Nando! In fact, she said all they did was kiss. Really?  Big Brother has chosen to call her confession The Great Lie! Did we all watch the same video? Or perhaps Selly was fast asleep or dreaming during all that happened in the video?

She said the Diamond housemates like to gossip too much and spread lies. According to her, she is disappointed if Nando says they had “seks” because she knows nothing happens.
