Cannabis Can Now Be Taken On A Plane In Oregon Legally

You can now take weed on a plane that’s if you live in Oregon. Unfortunately smoking weed in public remains illegal and due to non-smoking flights, passengers won’t be allowed to enjoy their cargo on board anyway.

Flyers at Portland’s Airport are allowed to take up to an ounce of marijuana with them on the plane so long their destination is also within the state.

An airport official told KGW If travelers carrying cannabis wish to fly outside of Oregon they will be asked to “go back outside the security check point and store that recreational marijuana in a safe place.”

In 1973, Oregon was the first US state to decriminalize the possession of small amounts of cannabis and was one of the first states legalize its medicinal use in 1998.

The recreational use of cannabis was legalized within the state on 1 July this year.

45 ISIS militants have reportedly been killed after the militants ate poisoned Ramada meal. It sounds really evil to hear the phrase ‘poisoned Ramadan meal’ but when you are told it was ISIS militants who eat it, then you jump to celebrate—for the reason that the ISIS armies have been killing and terrorizing thousands in Iraq and other parts of the world.

According to local media, the ISIS militants are thought to have been killed after breaking their Ramadan fast with a poisoned meal. Around 145 people gathered for ‘iftar’, a meal taken at sunset to break the daily Ramadan fast, in Mosul, Iraq.

ISIS continues to behead people, causing atrocities in Iraq and several parts of the world—but as the world struggle to destroy the armies of the ISIS, we seem to have forgotten that one person who can easily end it all for us, just with his music.

Shaggy of Mr Boombastic fame has shared his own personal thoughts on how we could stop ISIS for good.

This seems like a good come back stunt for Shaggy…

Speaking to the Miami New Times, Shaggy said his plan to end ISIS would involve strategically piping his music into Isis base camps (somehow) so that the terrorists could connect with his music on an emotional level.

“If you’re able to cut a man’s head off, you’re sick,” mused Shaggy. “But right, music evokes emotion. So if they’re listening to Shaggy music or reggae music, they’re not going to want to cut somebody’s head off.”

He added that, if ISIS begins to listen to his music – such as his new tune “Go F**k Yourself” – they might quit terrorism all together.

Top South Sudanese model Nykhor Paul, 25, has taken to social media to rant about unprepared make-up artists at top fashion shows who fail to accommodate for the needs of those with darker skin tones.

The model in an Instagram post blasted the fashion industry for considering the needs of ‘white girls’ but ignoring others, forcing her to carry around her own products. It is not the first time the 5ft 11in African beauty has spoken out about the inequality she has faced, having previously said that we ‘need more models of color in the fashion world’.

In her rant, she also stated that anytime she has to work at a major world fashion week, this make-up artists issue pop ups. Upset about this treatment she faces, Nykhor added that she’s ‘tired of complaining’ and ‘super tired’ of apologising for her blackness.

It is appalling the kind of mentalities some people have towards the empowerment of women, especially when you consider it is one of the only guaranteed ways of societal progress.

People are taking this opposition to same seks marriage too seriously. Human beings are such hypocrites.

I mean, you cannot tell me these people do not flout any of the guidelines in the bible they hold so dear. There are a million insignificant things you do every day that are sins, but you go to church on Sunday and pray for forgiveness and you think that makes you qualified to condemn someone else who is flouting the rules of your imaginary God who writes books.

Anyway, the entire Tennessee county clerk’s office has resigned en masse in order to forestall any possible gay marriage certificate requests that they would receive. They say it conflicts with their religious belief and rather than be forced to comply with the Supreme Court ruling, they choose to resign.

Deputy county clerk Gwen Pope, whose resignation takes effect June 14, said they were doing it for the glory of God, and not for publicity.

Since same seks legalisation was carried out in the name of marriage equality, other people have decided they would try their luck now at legitimacy.

Case in point this man in Montana, who has decided to apply for a polygamy license since marriage equality is the norm now. According to him, marriage equality should cover him and his two wives as well.

One of the dissenting judges in the 5-4 ruling, Chief Justice John Roberts, noted in his ruling that the legal argument used to justify gay marriage could be used to justify other forms of marriage, such as polygamy.

It did not take this guy any time to try his luck.
