She won the Best Actress award at the African Movie Academy Awards 2010 for her role in “The Perfect Picture”. A native of Teshie in Accra, Naa was born on November 24 1988 to Mr Paul Mensah-Doku and Sarah Mensah-Doku, the second of four sisters.

She attended the Daras School from nursery to JSS and continued at the Benkum Secondary School in Larteh.

Nisirine Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku went into presenting when she was invited on several occasions as a guest on a Youth program “New Generation”, on TV Africa. She later presented “Day Break Entertainment”, She went to host “Day Break” and became a co-host to Okyeame Quophi on TV Africa’s variety show “Sounds Splash!” (more…)

John Osei Tutu Agyeman, commonly known as J.O.T. Agyeman, is one of the most popular Ghanaian actors of all time. In addition to his acting abilities, JOT is also a TV Anchor who has appeared on a number of popular Ghana television programs.

Ghana has a hot new talent blowing up the music scene and its airwaves, in the form of Tiffany. This new rising star has no doubt begun to establish herself as a force to be reckoned with on the music circuit. Although she hasn’t been on the music circuit for too long, she has already rubbed shoulders with the very best of the best, including performing with Fat Joe and Omarion during their respective concerts in Ghana. Her talent has also seen her grace various concerts, such as the ‘Ghana Rocks’ concert and, ‘Night with Naija.’

Though she may be enjoying a formidable amount of success now, the road to fame was not a particularly smooth one for Tiffany- a high-school drop-out, she has had to endure a long and arduous battle before getting where she is today. (more…)

I was born in Archway , North London but grew up in East London. From age 9 I have always aspired to become a Television/ Radio Presenter as I always wanted to be the centre of attention and loved the thought of being known by a lot of people. Aged 15 (in my second to last year of secondary school) we were given the opportunity to do a 2 week work experience placement at whatever place we desired, however I had a lot of problems finding a media work based placement.
