Dear Rickie,

My name is Benjy and I have been in relationship for the past 3 to 4 years. I work and my girlfriend is a student. Things are not going on well like it use to, she needs more time while I don't finish early from work and she is always busy.

I feel she is cheating on me and we end up making each other bored the least time we spent together. What should I do? Should I be feeling that way? I need your support….. Thank you….

Dear Benjy,

Trust is the most important thing in a relationship, if you don't trust your partner then there is no point being with them. Of course you are a human being and she is showing you signs that she may be involved with someone else, maybe this is not the case.

I know you don't close early for work but perhaps you can spend time on your off days, take her out and most importantly do the things that she loved when you met up. Spark between couples die after some time but it’s up to both of you to restore that spark. There are some ideas in an article on my column (Get Your Relationship Back To Life), read it and do some of the five things I have listed.

If you do all these and she is still making excuses then let her go. It sounds harsh but that's the way it is. Also try and talk to her and see some of the things she will like from you or to do to make both of you happy.

If you know that your girl friend is cheating on you there is know need to weast your time on her any more Ok. Fund your way out. Leave her, beautiful once are not yet born.

Who says all the beautiful ones are faithful Asantenibapa? I believe a best relationship is built on trust. the fact that she is busy does not mean she is cheating. It's ok when a guy is having time out with his friends, but when a lady does.......she is branded as unfaithful. If u truly love someone learn to trust them.

My dear your girl friend is not cheating on you, some one you have stayed with more than year, you guys got to trust your women, if she says, she is busy, you got to trust her just to put your mind at rest, dear if you trust your women i bit you will be the most happiest guy on earth , let me give some example my guy don't trust me and do you know what is happening in our relationship, we love each other but because he don't trust me he always find a way of arguing with me, baby what i want to say is if you love her just trust her no matter what happen

Definitely cheating

Your girlfriend is a student, what in the world is she busy with? Aside from a few hours of school she has no other obligations. She is not working and I don't think she has any kids, so all her free time should be for you.

I sure you support her financially to some extent and she doesn't want to sack you completely, but the way she is treating you is unacceptable. Imagine when she starts working, you won't see her for days at a time.

Dump her now and find someone who respects you and who you can communicate with. There are plenty of caring ladies out there who know how to treat a man, you don't have to take rubbish from anyone.
