Miss Ghana UK launches again this year at Troxy in hopes of finding its new beauty queen after successes over the five years since it was first introduced in the UK.

The event happens in and around every November to bring together 10 beautiful Ghanaian girls from around the UK aged 17 and above. The beauty pageant aims to bring all UK based Ghanaians together to showcase the professionalism, the culture and the education these girls have.

Previous winners have gone on to achieve many things with the company like Miss Nicola Sackey who just launched a sports foundation called the Eagle Sports Foundation. It is a charity organisation which aims to find underground athletes to represent Ghana at international level like the Olympics games in 2012. Nicola will be at the event to find out who takes her crown.

This year’s event is tipped to be one of the best yet with performances from the main Pigaro man Asem, Gang a UK based group and Ghana’s new RnB sensation K’son. There will also be a fashion show by Me fri Ghana and there will be other attractions on the night as well.
