Chemphe’s Double P Campaign Launched In Accra

Due to the unfortunate demise of Ghana’s late president John Evans Atta Mills, the launch of Chemphe’s ‘Double P’ campaign was postponed.
The project ‘Double P’ has now been launched successfully in Accra. The project which is a campaign for Peace and against Poverty was launched on Saturday in a short ceremony at Grand Casamora Hotel in Accra.
Present to spell out the objectives of the project were CEO of E-Jam Records, James Korsah-Brown and the manager of Chemphe, Mr. Benoit Brown, head of Ivory Refugees and Mr. Chris Afriyie, the owner of the hotel.
According to the musician, real name Henry Randy Agyekum Chemphe, he has been very instrumental in using his brand as a celebrity to administer peace and poverty programmes across the globe.
He recollected how his hit single ‘Why You Dey Treat Am Bad’ made it to the world Chart Show and was there on several weeks as Pan African hit song. The campaign against violence on women helped him to become a peace ambassador globally.

The ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ concert is largely regarded as a musical showdown of sorts to establish supremacy between two countries whose musical trends have continuously influenced and rivaled each other in every way.
If indeed, the concert is a showdown, then last year’s edition was judged by many industry pundits as being a unanimous victory in favor of the Ghanaian artistes who excited the most with their performances on the night. This year therefore, the Naija acts are pledging to bring their best performances to bear on the night.
In typical Nigerian fashion, top Naija acts featuring on the bill have stated emphatically that come the night of 30th June, 2012, they will outclass their Ghanaian counterparts.

May Day 1stMay 2012 will experience the best drive programme on Hitz FM 103.7 from 4pm to 6pm tomorrow as Ghana’s only Pan African RNB artiste Chemphe hits the Hitz fM Studio for what he calls a ‘Kiss Me’ drive.  The artiste who had one of his busiest weekends performing on over four platforms was impressed with the offer that actually came as a surprise when it was confirmed by his manager after liaising with the Manager Of The Station.
Chemphe successfully executed his ‘Oil City RNB Rave’ on 21st April at Takoradi Paragon Night Club which also saw performances from FOI, Nkyiraba Kojo, Yaw Berma and Stormmi. His performances around the world for the YCMA concerts in Norway, South Africa and other parts of the world has gone down in history books as one of the most successful multicultural concerts this century.
