Akosua Hanson Says Disgraced KKD Should Shut Up About Rape Case & Media Houses Should Stop Granting Him Platforms (VIDEO)

Kwesi Kyei Darkwah (KKD) has been blasted by radio personality and co-host of Celebrity Fanzone-Akosua Hanson for a recent comment he made at Glitz Style Awards in Accra.

At the event, KKD in an interview said the rape case affected his brand positively—sort of saying, he is glad it happened.

“It has affected the brand KKD, people have become kinder to me, people have become more embracing of me and I think another thing that it’s done for the brand is to redirect the energies of the brand towards those who want us to soar,” KKD is reported to have said.

Following the above comment, Akosua Hanson decided to say it as it is—that media houses should stop granting disgraced KKD platforms where he keeps throwing out garbage in relation to the rape case.

She said: “I honestly feel we shouldn’t give this KKD space at all to even speak about it.” She added that “there are always people who will support the alleged rapist.”

KKD Says SCREW Rape Allegation As He Says ‘My Brand As An Iconic Entertainment Personality Is Intact’ & Sort of Compares Himself to Christ that Jesus Was Even Accused Severally

Kwesi Kyei Darkwah

Kwesi Kyei Darkwah (KKD) says he is not on any high horse and that his ‘Brand as an iconic Entertainment Personality is intact’ despite the rape allegation which was brought against him. He doesn’t even seem to take not of the moral consequence of his action—-a 50 year old man meeting a girl of 19 year old and within few hours, having sex with this girl unprotected in a hotel bathroom…

For KKD, the cry of the sex not being consensual by the victim is pure nonsense and the State’s inability to prosecute vindicates him, so; he has not really done anything morally, religious or legally wrong—at least so we get. And as such, no damage has been caused to his brand, he is confident about that.

At KKD’s thanksgiving service held on Sunday at The Christ Foundation Family Church in Sukumono, the once alleged rapist who was joined by family told JOY News after the service that.

“People hoped that I will die; some people hoped that I will fail, 30 years ago. Do I have to go their homes to change their minds”?

Celebrity & Law: The KKD’s Rape Case…It Was A ‘Nolle Prosequi’ and Not An Acquittal | So Is He Innocent?

KKD, daughter and son
KKD, daughter and son

Law is a complex discipline and even after studying it for over 7 years to a Masters degree level, I still get lost in its complexities, sometimes.

Yesterday, it emerged that the state of Ghana (the Attorney General) had issued ‘Nolle Prosequi’ in the Kwesi Kyei Darkwah’s rape case—a development which was met with jubilation from KKD’s camp and also attracted a callous message from KKD’s 20 year old daughter-Ohemaa.

On social media, the debate continues unabated in a room of confusion, caused by the various legal complexities.

It’s difficult to keep up with the law—and this difficulty is mostly made worse by the regular use of Latin words and phrase in the legal field. In law schools, those Latin phrases are the most hated—and as such I can understand the confusing they bring to ordinary people.

Let’s look at what the Attorney General wrote in the issuance of KKD’s ‘Nolle Prosequi’ which for now has made KKD a free man…

The victim in this case Ewureffe is still very unwilling to testify in court. The victim states that she is highly traumatized by the events of the day of the incident and its aftermath and so is not in the right frame of mind to appear before the court.

Thus the Attorney General believes that it is not in the best interest of the victim and the prosecution to present her before the court at this point in time.

KOD & KKD Should Bow Their Heads in SHAME | Two Disgraceful Sexual Predators?

KOD and KKD
KOD and KKD

Dear Chris,

Did I hear someone say Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) and Kwesi Kyei Darkwah (KKD) are cousins? It wouldn’t be far-fetched to speculate that; the act of preying on little girls run in the family then or they must have eaten some food that got their balls heated up that night.

These two men for many years have been celebrated in Ghana as showbiz personalities—and undeserving respect has been accorded them. From what we now know about their antics the night Ms Ewuraffe Orleans-Thompson was allegedly raped, I can boldly say these two are not gentlemen at all—and should not be given any sort of public respect again.

How can two grown up men (one married) pick up random young girls at an event and try to do something with these girls who did not only refuse their drinks but also were not interested in any sexual act; be it a kiss or a bang bang.

We have written countless articles and reports on the KKD alleged rape case—and if you missed any of the developments, it can really be difficult trying to catch up.

For those who have been asking some basic questions and still have doubts as to what really happened between Kwesi Kyei Darkwah and the 19 year old girl, DailyGuide has taken time to put the developments together based on the bill of indictment being used for KKD’s prosecution…

It’s a long read but it surely answers some of the basic questions and points to the fact that, KKD seems to have really been up to something. We cannot say for a fact that he did rape Ms Ewuraffe Orleans-Thompson but you can decide for yourself after reading the below account.

According to the Newspaper, this is part 1 so we should expect the second part…

Why I Have Changed My MIND About KKD…It Seems There Was RAPE!

KKD
KKD

Dear Chris-Vincent,

First of all, I would like to apologise to anyone who I have offended with my KKD defence tactics since the alleged KKD rape case saga emerged and importantly to you; because I commented on several of your articles rubbishing a possibility that Kwesi Kyei Darkwah could have rapped the 19 year old.

At that time, I thought I was right and the position I held was based on available information. What I did wrong then was the fact that, I did not leave any room for scepticism and I mean, I did not allow myself to think that, such a fine gentleman could have done so to a young woman.

I think my utmost respect for the man and his achievements clouded my judgement to the extent that I couldn’t bring myself to consider any possibility that he could have done what was being alleged.

But in the last few days and having come across new information, I have changed my mind. I am not saying for sure he did what is being alleged since it’s not in my position to pronounce such judgement—but I have changed the certain nature of my position and today, I believe; he could have done it.

From the new information of the 19 year old girl being a virgin to KOD (another one) being in the room and having somehow increased the volume of a television set to prevent the struggles and screams of the young girl being heard—it seems there was a rape.

KKD’s Rape Case Transferred to High Court | Trial Starts On March 18

Kwesi Kyei Darkwah’s alleged rape case has today been transferred to the High Court for trail—despite the fact that his lawyer-Anthony Forson argued that the case should be dismissed.

At the Kanieshie District Court today presided over by justice Adjoa Akyamaa, the court transferred the case to the High Court after the prosecutor read the bill of indictment.

KKD’s lawyer had wanted the case not to be transferred, rather be dismissed—arguing that the State wouldn’t be able to make a case at the High Court since the key alleged victim has already expressed her dis-interest in the case. Here, the lawyer pulled out the letter written by the alleged victim some weeks ago and read it to the judge.

Was KKD Alleged Rape Victim PAID to Drop Case?

According to social media talks which remain unconfirmed, certain big men of our Ghanaian societies, ranging from pastors to rich men from a particular church went to see the alleged KKD rape victim- Miss Ewuraffe Orleans Thompson—for an out of court settlement. Apparently, using the public backlash, these negotiators reminded the young girl and her family of … Read more

Did KKD Go Against His Own Morals? | Angelina A. Morrison Asks…

KKD
KKD

We are well-trained in a country like Ghana. Most families instil cherished morals in their children from a very young age. And someone like Mr. Darkwah would be no exception. On this sound premise, it is rather unfortunate the turn of events in the last few days. Tragically, a case like this threatens to ruin a reputation that has taken years to forge in the searing anvil of life.

It is appropriate to plead using this medium that we do not become a jury when the case is yet to be decided. The firm presumption has to be that he is innocent until proven guilty. After all, a charge is not the same as a sentence.

Nonetheless, thinking about the issue, one has to wonder what exactly went on, or perhaps is going on. As some will strongly argue with or without deference, a man can date any girl who is not a minor, and is of sound mind. That said, when people are in the limelight, we usually expect them to act in a certain way. This is not the law, but more of societal custom and expectation. Thus, the age gap between accused and complainant itself raises questions, particularly when the complainant could well be his daughter. But on a more serious note, one has to pause and ask a few more probing and trenchant questions in the light of the public information I have to bring to your attention.

Below is a verifiable Facebook note written by The Finest as he likes to be referred to. I encourage you to peruse through and hear what the man has to say. The note is dated (13 June 2014 at 09:32). Most likely, you may conclude that if he had followed his own stated morals as obvious from this note, then things would have turned out quite differently. And if he indeed followed his morals, then he can be confident of escaping from this septic morass he is stuck in. But that is for you to read and decide whether you agree or otherwise.
