If you’ve been wondering why Dentaa is missing from your TV screens, fear not, she has been away handling what she considers her greatest task of all time, motherhood! Congratulations are in order to the captivating and endearing Ghanaian TV personality Dentaa who just gave birth to her second child, a beautiful baby boy this morning in London.
Dentaa, who briefly rocked the music scene before continuing on to focus on her entrepreneurship and hosting duties, is a major icon of success in the Ghana Showbiz world. After appearing in popular UK productions such as HolbyCity, Judge John Deed, Run Baby Run, and Prime Suspect, Dentaa charged onto the Ghanaian entertainment scene with full force heading straight to prime time and captivating audiences as host of the popular Mentor V.
Her instant appeal to viewers made her a hot commodity and she was quickly courted to co-host the 2009 Ghana Music Awards where she exhibited her flare for cutting edge and somewhat risqué fashion, and wowed audiences with her sultry singing skills in a duet with Batman Samini. Most recently, audiences were treated to yet another taste on Dentaa as she introduced Ghana’s first make over show, “Darling Beauty Dairies”, a show that transforms deserving young women by giving them beauty makeovers and arming with the confidence to conquer the world.
Although her face was all over the UK last year as the face of Swift Cash Money Transfer, she abruptly disappeared from hosting appearances as a result of her pregnancy. This explains her absence as the host of this season’s Mentor 5 and other shows which she could have easily handled. Behind the camera, she is the founder and CEO of Nudent Travel & Tours, a Ghanaian registered company located in Achimota which will celebrate its one year anniversary this April.
Ghanacelebrities.com says Congrats to Dentaa and we wish her all the best as she prepares to come back to fill the void on our TV Screens. Ghanacelebrities fans should stay tuned for an exclusive interview with Dentaa and a first look at pictures of her new baby boy!
