In the minds of many men, the issue of virginity is overshadowed by cynicism. I am a prototype of such men since I am very skeptical about “virgin women”. Do not get me wrong; even though I am skeptical about this issue, I am very realistic in the face of my skepticism. I am therefore not threading the line that, there aren’t adult virgin women out there.
Many men including my very close friends have been disappointed by girlfriends who have thrown the virgin dust into their eyes, making them wait for years with the trust that, their girlfriends were virgins. Eventually when the day came, these girls were far from virgins.
As much as every man will cherish and adore a virgin woman, I do not go with that frame of mind. In fact, it is an absolute turn off for me. Immediately I hear the slogan, “I am a virgin”, I dash into thin air. I will surely like a virgin to my self, but I do not want to be part of the entire virgin-disappointment chronicles so I stay away from such girls.
With my current entrenched mindset of doubt about the issue of virgin women, I did not find myself the appropriate individual when my very friend approached me with his sticky situation. As he poured out that which is being thrown to him by his new found lover, it pushed me deep into thought and made me extremely “bemused and bewildered”.
How on earth can he be listening to the “garbage” which many have once believed and found out to be false? Yet, I could not blame him much as there are surely some virgin women out there. To summarize that which my friend told me will be difficult since all the elements will be needed to make a vivid deduction as to whether his 31 year old found love is indeed a virgin.
I will therefore attempt t to present all the vital elements of his situation and the very issues creating such a colossal doubt in my mind as to the virgin status of this woman so you can help me advice my friend.
My friend met this woman from another part of Africa and he seems crazy about her. Literally, he worships this woman and speaks so high of her. They have been together for almost a year and half without any sex. It is not problematic when both persons in a relationship come to a common consent of “no sex before marriage”.
This is not the situation when it comes to my friend’s relationship with his 31year old woman. My friend would love to have a splendid experience of loving making with his found love, but his found love constantly reminds him of her ‘virginity’, which she is not ready to break until marriage.
What burdens my friend’s heart the most is that, after 18 months of patiently waiting, this woman is still denying him that which is an integral part of most successful adult girlfriend-boyfriend relationship.
The denial alone is heart breaking; the worst of all is that, this woman tells my friend she has had intimate oral sexual experiences with her previous boyfriends which include the guys ‘going down’ on her among others.
According to my friend, his 31 year old girlfriend is very informed when it comes to sex related issues. She is constantly talking about various sex toys, lubricants and positions. Sometimes, he is pushed to ask her the very question you are thinking about; How come you know all these sexual instruments, their usage and so much about sex?
I read a lot about sex is the answer he gets all the time. My friend approached me as to what I think about his whole situation and whether within my little intellect I believe his 31 year old girl friend is indeed a virgin.

Well how do you define virginity? if it is strictly not having had sexual intercourse then sure I am a virgin, and I am 26. I do not see the big deal. One can refrain from sexual intercourse, but can still find other ways to be intimate with their partner. Just because the lady says she has had men go down on her and she appears to know a lot about sex, does not mean that she has had sexual intercourse. I think you may have a very narrow perspective of virginity and perhaps that is why you struggle with the concept.

its doesn’t matter if she is a 31 yr old virgin who knws a lot abt other sex toys and wht not. she says she is a virgin so be it. if she is not and claims to be then you friend should be careful either she wants ur friend to marry her in a hurry( for wht reason i don’t knw) or she is not attracted to ur friend and just using him for whtever reason. plus this is the new generation, with the help or internet and everything around you can learn a lot abt sex without experiencing it.
Virginity ? it depends on who you ask. Some girls ( especially in the west) have anal sex and call themselves virgins because there hasn’t been vaginal penetration. There are some 30 yr olds virgins out there…not many I am sure.

there are more women out there who are virgins. as long as u have the determination in urself that u wanna say a virgin till whatever years u like, u can do it.
