My Thoughts: In The Midst Of Glamour, African Women Are Indeed Beautiful & Worth Being Celebrated

blank

The beauty of Africa is not just entrenched in its landscapes, wild life, greener forest and sarcastically its corrupt leaders, its women are extremely glamorous and true embodiment of natural beauty.

I have never taken time out of my busy schedule to give a “tell-tale” glance to the beauty Africa is endowed with in terms of the diverse but beautiful women who are twisted, shaped and curved in different ways.

Last night presented to me 8 glamorous women from various parts of Africa. It was like a beauty pageant where all the fabulous and naturally beautified and perfectly created black women were lined up.

My experience last night got my mind settling deep on the words; indeed African women are beautiful and worth being celebrated. Without contempt and not sounding racist, I can boldly say beauty comes in black and lives in Africa.

As I sat calmly, overshadowed and slightly threatened by these 8 innate beautiful girls who spring from Nigeria, Congo DR, Uganda, Ghana, South Africa and Gambia dancing to various tunes from different parts of the world especially Africa in celebrating their friend attaining 31, I wondered how any African man would “skip jump” such beauties to marry a non African.

Africa is blessed and black is beautiful. I am proud to be a citizen of a continent full of natural beautiful women. Let’s celebrate that which Africa brings and worship the various black African empresses.

In short, African women are naturally beautiful and are worth being celebrated.

    • @KA nan na,
FAILED. I guess you’re new here or you’re chris himself posting under a different name.
I’ve caught Eben doing that before and have also caught chris removing
tid-bits in articles. You see, they’re portraying and supporting negativity and the ‘pull him/her down – phD) syndrome that most Ghanaians seems to be engaging in.
The previous folks are raining on him because he’s trying to ‘win’ some
people to his side with this bullshit. When it’s him, that’s always posting African women and demeaning them calling the ‘Hos’. His hypocrisy and
double-standards is what’s back-firing here. A little child that’s trying to tell grown folks what to do and how to conduct their lives ’cause he’s been giving a website to manage.
Yes, I said giving. lol. Talk about when damage control back-fires. hahaha
They on to ya’ll and your weak-minded behavior now.  What does this child knows about African women? Or women in general?  FAILED. hahahaha

  2. I have seen this post on two other sites, so Chris tell us, are you the author?? – Secondly, I agree with the above comments – the motivation for the post is suspect. This site is always so quick to criticize and tear people down, and then out of nowhere comes an article about “celebrating African women”. The message may be a good one, but the intent does not appear genuine …. try again.

        Preach Brian!
That’s exactly what I suspect is going on. I’ve been advocating here for the longest for peeps to open their eyes that there’s more to the existence of this site. I know ’cause am in the biz too and feels like we need something else. But Ghanaians are so hungry to see their fellow been pull down nowadays that, it has giving a site with such stupid intent popularity. Shit, A gossip site? A celebrity gossip site? c’mon. On top of that, they copy stories from all the other sister sites and don’t quote it so it’s as if THEY WROTE IT THEMSELVES. Which is an intellectual crime in itself. lol. Am just on their case I think they can do better. In this life, it’s better to aim at helping other’s than to seek the destruction of other’s for laughter. Their just clowns in the closet that’s over-flowing. Children trying to be authoritative. hahaha. lmao.

  4. That’s some saddness if all that has been commented is true.

Its a site with potential but so often it gets lost in trying to please a nonGhanaian audience which is fine but its important to remain positive 100% of the time.
If this article is not an original, state so, no vex….Its a good read, and makes us ladies feel royal in its truth.

  5. Okay, I guess some of the writers on the team are right, we should start moderating comments as you people are messing and insulting…

I will get someone paid to start moderating all your comments and delete the ones she/he finds not worthy of appearing on this site.

Those asking if i wrote the above article or not, I did and where ever you saw it must have copied it from me or it is another site I write on.. Thanks

  6. I enjoyed this article. It will allow someone insecure in their own skin to feel good abt themselves to know there are ppl who appreciate that chocolate skin, kinky hair, full lips, wide hips and all that. Especially to hear this from a black man, since so many that appear ‘good catches’ nowadays want to date whites n asians and watevr else and not deal with sistas for inaccurate reasons. I appreciate black men who love their black women.

    • @KTGalloway, i agree, the article was very refreshing compare to a lot of negative articles out there about women of color in general. I don’t know what’s up with with all the hate about the article.

        • @esi, WHAT PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT IS THE HYPOCRISY. This site is always dissing women and trying to bring them down, now all of a sudden they post an article like this. The hypocrisy is what people have a problem with.
