It is not surprising to hear people making wishes about their gender or personalities. I have heard many people say; I wish I was a man or I wish I was a woman. This week’s discussion hubs around changes we would want should there be a next world for us.

If there should be a next world and we are presented with the opportunity to make changes as to our sex and nationality, would you want to change your sex from male to female or vice versa for the next world? If Yes…..why? And if No… why? What about nationality? Would you want to be born somewhere else and why…? Maybe you would not want to be a Ghanaian but an American, British, Togolese,  Nigerian or Afghan…

  2. Ummm….I wouldnt want o change my gender to man, because gosh…. I feel so blessed as a woman. Able to give birth, able to show emotions so openly, able to do alot that as a man I wouldn’t. I love who I am. Nor would I want to change my race… I am black and proud. Now, nationality, I am not sure about. i think I would stay as an american, yet… deep in my heart i would love to say oh im from cameroon or ghana etc

  3. If I had that wish, I want to be ME again. I’m proud to be a woman of color. The thing I would change is the knowledge I have now at age 30. In the next life i want that knowledge at age 12. That way I’ll be set to go on my journey and i can bypass all my trials and tribulations.

  4. Yes, I would want to change who am I if there were such opportunities and indeed such a thing as a next life. I have this experience being me now so no need to repeat something this same experience I’ve had already. I am not hung up on specifics like race/ethnicity or gender but one thing is for certian I would want to be in a position of power to influence international policies especially in areas of equality and fairness to all.
