Many are times people seek for relationships out of their league. I am using the word “league” loosely here to mean social status and age. Personally, I am someone who dates out of my league in terms of age since every woman I have seriously been with has been older than me.  There are reasons for my preference….

As much as some people like dating and being with older people, others like the younger generation…They say, “catch them young and they shall be yours forever”.

Apart from differential age dates, some people only date individuals of higher societal status compared to theirs. Certain non-celebrities have “luckily” found themselves in relationships with celebrities with varying end results…Some work, some do not work…

For over a decade, soloist, rapper and composer, Sir Kwame Nsiah Appau popularly referred to as Okyeame Kwame has been integral and innovative, a part of hip-life history in Ghana that can never be left out.

Born to Mr. & Mrs. Appau on the 17th of July, 1976 at Ashtown but lived at Fante New Town all in Kumasi, he attended St. Joseph’s R/C Primary and Kings J.S.S., both in Kumasi. He later attended the Kumasi Anglican Secondary School (KASS) for his secondary education. Kwame has spent a major part of his life in Kumasi and only a few moments overseas, if life demanded.

He is inspired by the works of Agya Koo Nimo, Kojo Antwi and Amakye Dede whose dexterous works geared into motion his own development as some of the most diverse hi-life performers of all times. A founding member Of Akyeame (An award-winning hip-life duo he formed with Kofi Amoateng aka Okyeame Quophi of Emklan Entertainment fame) and a significant part of Ghanaian music. His ability reaches back to the primary sources of POETRY to create his personal interpretation of the sophisticated art of Music in Ghana.
