Senyo Amoaku (aka DNA-1) is a name most Ghanaians may not be familiar with. Born and raised in Ohio America, he is not only a flourishing screen writer, but also a successful composer and actor.

Having a renowned music professor for a father was only natural that he took to music. DNA-1 went into hip hop and has performed alongside big acts such as the Black Eyed Peas, Nappy Roots and Ludacris. He has starred in many commercials for AOL, EA Sports and one of the biggest food companies in the world Kraft Foods.

Senyo Amoaku will be hitting our screens big time from the 13th of August   in the Sylvester Stallone’s  new all star action movie called Expendables. The movie features almost all the big Hollywood action men such as Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Steve Austin, Mickey Rourke, Terry Crews and the Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Senyo plays a character called Tall Pirate and this action movie is tipped to be another Box office cracker.

  1. This sounds more like you guys where browsing saw a black man with all the stars and decided to check us bio out Senyo is been doing for a longtime and features in alot if things why now

  2. Why now ? Because they choose when they decide to talk about someone and not when you want them. Stupid comment above. Looks like it will be a great movie. Kudos to senyo for his achievements especially this one.

  3. This is Senyo Amoaku…I am very blessed to be part of The Expendables and is proud to be representing the Black Stars in this Summers biggest action blockbuster! Praise to all my fans worldwide and thanks to GC for recognizing emerging talent…respect! B Home soon!

    • seriously, which “real celebbrity” has the time to reply to articles. your agent need to get some auditioning for you real quick in mama mia or sisters act. Then again its some fake senyo amoaku from Abeka Lapaz, so its all good. and to the real one, you aint got fans worldwide, get a grip, and this in not GHANA’s GOT TALENT!

  4. @dagodfather…first I connect with all my fans WORLDWIDE! Second your right I should have never let Ghana know I got love for this virtually unknown country as far as REAL HOLLYWOOD films go right? Look I’m always in touch with reel ppl and always will be, maybe I should take your classes on how to be a celebrity lol…anyways thanks to GC for showing love…and to the HATERS get it while you can caue if your right about one thing I may ot always be around to criticize…btw…this is the real Senyo Amoaku! To the ladies find me on Facebook, to the Haters see ya later!

  5. Yeah, another big celebrity GC has to feature is Peter Mensah. The guy has played major roles in world hits like AVATAR, THE INCREDIBLE HULK, 300 (the messenger that King Leonidas pushed into the well), TEARS OF THE SON, THE PERFECT SON, etc and he features constantly on SPARTACUS.
He’s arguably Ghana’s biggest star out there…bigger than Idris Elba, Boris Kojo, Nana Gbewornyo and Senyo Amoaku
