After weeks of unsettled Rumour having it that Nadia Buari was “cornering” Dede Ayew in her romantic net, Dede Ayew finally spoke to nullify the Rumour. Nadia Buari did not speak on this and I am personally not amazed on her silence since I am beginning to catch up on her Showbiz mindset. (I don’t know if I am allowed to call her a media coward without being blasted by her fans who are failing to see the light)
Though her silence did not tick even an itch of me, mainly because I am not a huge fan of Nadia, one of our loyal readers, a “die hard” fan of Nadia Buari she calls herself sent in the below mail to pour out her heartfelt sentiments…Nadia and her management would definitely read you (Doreen) but whether they would respect your “fanship” and letter is another issue…

I have been a follower of your online tabloid (GhanaCelebrities.Com) for months now and even though I sometimes share different opinion in relation to some of your articles, I must admit you and your team are doing well in your chosen niche (Ghana Entertainment & Celebrity Lifestyle).
As a die hard fan of Nadia Buari, when I read on here that Nadia Buari is rumoured to be in a hot romantic relationship with youngster Andrea Dede Ayew, my heart dropped dead and said to myself “This must be a lie”.
I was a bit furious and starred at my computer in disappointment when the above Rumour was followed by another mini write up by you (Chris-Vincent) that you were not ready to waste your 5 pounds on calling card to verify the Rumour since you are certain that Nadia Buari would play her usual “prank” of not being available to avoid clarifying the issue for her fans if you even make the call.
However, I swallowed my bitterness against your failure to make any attempt to contact Nadia Buari for her to either trash the rumour or accord it some weight when I further read that NewsOne, an Entertainment Newspaper in Ghana tried to reach Nadia Buari to substantiate the rumour but was “pranked” or not given any audience by her and her management (All the calls and text messages received the usual she is not available prank).
Nadia lives in Ghana and this rumour became tensed up in Ghana, on radio, television and in the print media. As a true fan of Nadia, I was expecting her or her management to come out and quickly trash the rumour for her fans to rest their hearts and at least let some of us know that, she cherishes us as fans and acknowledges that she has fans who care about what we hear or read about her, especially when it is carried by majority of the media houses.
Nadia Buari did not say anything which I am finding it difficult to understand, does it mean that what they say about her is true or what? Is she really “stuck up” to the extent that she does not even care about her fans? What got me to write this is when Peacefm had to call all the way to France to ask Dede Ayew about the rumour. He came out and said it has no legs. This is what I expected Nadia to do. What is wrong with her speaking to the media as Dede Ayew did?
As I stated above, I was a die hard fan of Nadia but her recent galloping disrespect to her fans, the media and even the industry she works within is worrying to me, I have there ceased to be one of her foot soldiers. I may only be one person, yet she has lost a fan and a dedicated one of course.
The most worrying part of her behaviour and poor public relation that upset my tummy is the fact that over the years, Nadia has intentionally refused to attend movie premieres in Ghana, even if she played the leading role in these movies. Yet, she is gracing movie premieres in Nigeria. Can‘t she do the same for her Ghanaian fans and for the Ghana movie industry? Guess she would be the next Van Vicker soon.

I am not a Nadia fan (nor do I dislike her, am just indifferent), but I will defend her on this one. Why should she pick up the phone and deny the rumours? Did she ask you to publish any unsubstantiated stories about her? No. She does not owe anyone an explanation, and those who expect one, are naive. No matter what she says, people will continue to say and believe what they want, so why should she bother. Can you imagine the number of stories and rumours she must hear being spread about her everyday. I am sure she is just sick and tired of it all, thats why she’s chosen to keep silent … I don’t blame her.
