The difference between a model and a Supermodel is that they command the high fashion runways of fashion designers in Milan, Paris and New York. The money he/she commands because of their looks and reputation translate into a feature in elite print advertisements including but not limited to international magazine covers, international commercials and international billboards.
Supermodels are the cream of the crop, they sometimes get insurance on certain body parts due to it being their money-maker. Once in a while I will feature articles on Supermodels from Africa with special attention to our region.
The one thing all these Supermodels have in common is the fact that they were discovered in western countries for instance fast rising high-fashion darlings Kelly Moreira and Salieu Jalloh were discovered in France and New York respectively.
