New Movie: ‘4Play Reloaded’ Ready For The Market

Undoubtedly, ‘4Play’ was one of the movies which had lots of attention from the media. It’s the same movie in which actress Juliet Ibrahim showed her ‘goodies’.

The original trailer showed her boobs tangling in the video but after several talks with the producers, those parts were edited from the movie. However, ‘4Play Reloaded’ more of a sequel is ready for the market to consume.

UNIFEM Ghana Endorses “Sinking Sands”

In line with its Say NO! to Violence campaign championed by Hollwyood actress Nicole Kidman, UNIFEM Ghana has endorsed the groundbreaking international drama “Sinking Sands” as part of its media resource for the campaign.  As a resource, the film will be used by UNIIFEM in educating women on the issues of violence and ways to prevent it in their homes and in their lives.

“We are so excited to have the endorsement of UNIFEM Ghana. The film seeks to empower women no matter their circumstance, and UNIFEM Ghana’s mission fits perfectly as we use art to give life lessons,” said an elated filmmaker Leila Djansi.

Agya Koo’s Movie ‘Ama Ghana’ Tops Ghana Movie Awards Nomination

The Jury of the upcoming Ghana Movie Awards is officially announcing that Ama Ghana, a local language (Twi) movie directed by Frank Gharbin is the single movie that topped the awards’ nominations, released couple of weeks ago at the plush Golden Tulip hotel in Accra.

The movie which stars some of the crème de la crème of the twi movie industry such as Agya Koo, Clement Bonney aka Mr. Beautiful, Vivian Jill among others got 14 nominations ahead of Shirley Frimpong Manso’s A Sting In A Tale which also had 13 nominations.  Leila Djansi’s Sinking Sand followed closely with 12 nominations.

The Ghana Movie Awards 2010 was launched earlier in the year at the Alisa Hotel in Accra. Several months later, after the various committees had done their jobs, the nomination party for the nominees to be unveiled was held.

Indeed, the nomination party took place few days ago at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra. The nominations attracted the crème de la crème in the movie industry such as Fred Amugi, David Dontoh, Kofi Middleton Mends, Emmanuel Amarh, Jackie Appiah, Nadia Buari, Majid Michel, John Dumelo, Leila Djansi, Eddie Nartey, Vicky Zugah among others.

Not only them but musicians were also there to give support, after all music and movies go hand in hand.
