Ghanaian Celebrities & Their Cars! See Who Is Driving What…

Few days ago, we said farewell to 2010. We are in 2011 and I want us to take a look at the cars our Ghanaian celebrities drove last year. Most of them will still continue to drive the same car in 2011, whiles some will purchase new ones.

Below are my collection…..

JACKIE APPIAH

Co-winner of the Best Actress In A Lead Role at the Ghana Movie Awards 2010 is currently, the only Ghanaian actress who owns a fleet of expensive cars including a 2008 Model Nissan Murano, an allwheel drive Variant Infinity 2009 model, a £120,000 ultra-modern Range Rover that has the registration number customized in her name and other small cars.

NADIA BUARI

Nadia Buari

The winner of the Best Actress In A Supporting Role in English Language actress uses an Ultra-modern luxurious SUV Lexus RX 350 believed to have cost about US$100,000. She is also reported to have customized the registration number plate of the vehicle to suit her initials. The registration number ‘NSB-210’ is believed to stand for Nadia Sidiku Buari. The vehicle gives Nadia a huge ‘swag.’

Ghana’s Best Supporting Actor In A Lead Role for English Language is now called the sexy John and he drives a 2009 model of American Toyota Tundra Pickup Van a showroom price of $90,000. Ghana’s Favourite Actress at the recent movie awards also drives an Ultra Modern 2009 model Toyota RAV4 car. Her mum uses the same type of car with a different colour. There are also rumours that she will be releasing her latest car 2011 Range Rover Sports Supercharge (midnite blue) this year.

Khareema also made progress on the movie scene last years. She also uses a white Hyundai Accent 2007 model.

She is one of the veteran actresses in Ghana. Though, she does not come on screen these days, Adjoa P drives a black VW Passat.

Newly married highlife musician Kwabena also drives one of the latest and perhaps ‘sexiest’ cars in town. He uses a black Infiniti G35 car.

The CEO of Sparrow Productions is considered one of big girls behind the scenes. She also drives 2009 model, a £120,000 Ultra-Modern Range Rover.

Bola Ray

The arguable most rated MC in town; Bola also owns a fleet of cars. At a point he was using a Mercedes Benz, but GhanaCelebrities.com spotted him using a Chrysler with a customized number “Emperor 1-10.”

The Lebanese – British born turned Ghanaian actor is Ghana’s Best Actor In English Language.

He drives a Mercedes Benz and it is not surprising for many who know him. His first ash color Benz was last spotted with his wife. He, himself is last seen with a black Mercedes Benz. “I love Benz,” he once told NEWSONE.

She is the manager of actress Jackie Appiah and a costume expert. She did costume for a number of movies last year. She also drives an ash Hyundai Four Wheel Drive.

Most of his fans now call him, the Supremo due to his role in the movie, “The Supremo.” He also drives a Toyota Corolla, 2009 model.

Katawere, known in private life as Ebenezer Donkor drives a Korando Four-Wheel-Drive which he had labeled ‘Kata 1’ Check him out.

I still can’t forget the reason Joshua gave Ghanaians when he broke our hearts by losing to Manny Pacquiao. The ‘banku and kawe’ eater drives different cars but we spotted him in his brand new convertible BMW.

The actress turned producer is one of the business minded stakeholders in the movie industry. She operates a restaurant at Asylum Down in Accra and has not got too much taste for living a flamboyant lifestyle. But she drives an expensive ash colour Chrysler Pacifica.

FRED NUAMAH

Now known as the CEO of the recent Ghana Movie Awards, Fred Nuamah, is also an actor and artistes manager. He drives a number of cars but he is most often seen using his Porsche Cayenne. At Bob J’s funeral, he drove his 2002 Jaguar XJ Sport car.

Fifi Banson is a household name in Ghana, courtesy Peace Fm. He is currently touted as one of the funniest voices on radio. He drives different cars at different times and the last was his Toyota Highlander 2009 model.

The director of award winning Sinking Sands movie, Leila Djansi is perhaps the slimmest director in Ghana. But she does not drive the slimmest car in town. She also drives a Toyota Highlander.
