The premiere of the movie ‘Pool Party’ took place yesterday at the Silver Bird Cinemas. The movie had two showings, the first showing was at 6:00 and the second was 9:30.
It nearly flopped as the auditorium was virtually empty during the first showing. However, the second showing was what saved the premiere of the movie which was hardly advertised.
Celebrities such as Jackie Appiah and her manageress Samira Yakubu, Roger Quartey, Alhaji Abdul Sallam, Miss Ghana 2009 Mimi Areme, Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro, Majid Michel, Ifeanyi Onyeabor as well as upcoming movie stars were there for the second viewing to save the night.
During the screening of the movie, there was this lady besides me who told me what would happen at each scene and truly she got it right. Amusingly, about 70 % of the story line was STOLEN from an Indian movie.
The lady in question has promised to get GhanaCelebrities.Com the said movie she claimed she watched two weeks ago with her mother.
