“Random Ridiculeness”: WTH Is This Dance At A Funeral…

blank

Look, people should get it, there is a difference between a party and a funeral. As a Ghanaian, you do not have to go to someone’s funeral and dance like you are some exotic dancer who just won a lottery like what this lady is doing in the video (1:24 upawards)… Why is her hand on her …….

Did she have friends or family out there? If anyone comes to my funeral and put up this sort of dance, I will wake from the dead and give the person some dirty slap, ah aba!

  1. I disagree with you statement about dancing differently at party and funeral. Yes, it is a funeral, but does dancing or not dancing brings the person back? No, as long as it is not a relative of the deceased making a fool of him/herself, I think it fine. For all you know, she is celebrating her life while she is alive because she may not have people to dance for her when she is gone.

    • You really think that is appropriate for a funeral? So if your family memeber dies and you see someone at the funeral lifting her legs like this, you gonna be cool with it huh? Personally, I think there is time for everything, so as a dance for every occassion…

      • @ Chris you are so funny.”lifting of legds”hahahahahaa.Anyway I agree with you , just as they say every “butt” has its own underwear, thats the same way every occasion has its dance.

        • Well if you can really see like i do.. They are ruining the funeral and their dancing is even horrible. They need to start taking some dance classes and distracting others from also dancing..

      • am currently watching the video on you tube, and the guy who uploaded the video says the ladies aren’t Ghanaians. that could explain the reason why they are not discreet in their dance. not everybody holds the same notion as we Ghanaians do that, the dead should be reverred.

    • but u must recognise and respect the fat dat others are in grief…the fact dat life is short and we must celebrate our lifes whiles we’re alive doesn’t mean we should be irresponsible abt it.
yes it’s not a relative of the deceased but how do u think dis’ll make a relative feel.?

  7. Ghanaian funeral is a celebration of the dead, i know that for sure. because i grew up Kumasi. Kumasi funeral is more then a welding celebration. because it is the culture that after u bury the dead person, there is no more tears, but to celebrate the dead and enjoy the living.

  12. i think we must re organise our funerals, where we must play only hyms and dirge and no serving of alcohol, that way we will not see some of these things. i sit and ask myself where is the persons soul, THE REVELATION FROM HELL FROM THE 7 YOUTH tells us alot.

  13. I think they may have gate crashed maybe lol. But if they didn’t they certainly are drug, high or both coz even if you are rejoicing someone’s life what does that have to do with grabbing your crotch and practically molesting the next man that is up for a free lap dance…nah HIGHLY inappropriate….
