Saturday, 26th March, 2011 brought some of our notable Africans together in New York for the 2011 Plush F.A.C.E List Awards In New York.
In attendance from Ghana were Star Actress Jackie Appiah, Nadia Buari and Luckie Lawson. For the Awards night, Jackie rocked a beautiful decorated sheath dress made by Ghanaian fashion label Jill-“Anne Marie Adoley Addo” and Nadia Buari was looking glamorous in a slinky black dress made by her mother “Mama Buari creation”.
I am on the same page with Nadia Buari today on her outfit, though not an Oscar Dela Renta, Nadia Buari looks stunning and simply. I love to see our sisters rock our Ghanaian labels and say so to that effect. From the photos, I think Jackie Appiah has put on a bit of weight whiles Nadia Buari has on the other hand lost some few pounds. Jackie Appiah seems to put on weight quick and loses it quick as well…
Awards nominees for this year’s Face2Face Awards were Angelique Kidjo, Ngoli Onyeka Okafor, Lillian Blankson, Edward Armah and Bisola Bokoko.
