There are rumours that the ace Director/Scriptwriter of Sparrow Productions ‘Shirley Frimpong- Manso’ is having a ‘beef’ with the vibrant Actresses-Lydia Forson and that seems to perfectly explain why the former has not engaged the latter in any of her current movies.
In an interview with Myjoyonline after the screening ‘Adams Apples’ Chapter 2, Shirley Frimpong Manso who was quizzed on this matter stated that, she has not involved Lydia Forson in her movies for some time now because she has not found a role that befits her yet, she added that if she had issues with Lydia she would definitely not put it out there in the media… Really?
Supporting her statement, the African Movie Academy Award-winning Director mentioned that, Chris Attoh is not in her latest production and does that suggest that they are in a fight?…No, how can you fight your brother in law…LOL
Shirley further mentioned that she is a Director and a Producer who loves to explore and give other people the opportunity and that none of the casts who has featured in her productions gets stuck with Sparrow Productions.
Lydia Forson previously starred in Shirley Frimpong-Manso’s Scorned, Perfect Picture and A Sting in a Tale but has not appeared in any of her recent productions, prompting the rumours of a rift.
