Kas Shobayo

Fast-rising Nigerian act Kas Shobayo, whose hit song Femile has taken the continent by storm, is set to perform on the 30th of July at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre, where American R&B acts Mario and J Holiday will stage their much awaited musical concert.

233 Connect, organizers of the July 30th concert, today announced.

Kas is a British-born Nigerian platinum selling artist who has collaborated with artists such as 2Face, Ice Prince, M.I and Sir Shina Peters among others.

Apart from Femile, Kas continues to receive massive rotation on rural-urban African radio with songs like “If you wind for me”, “Edo My Home”, “Kas-a-nova”, Na U” and “Iyawomi”.

The organizers are hopeful that given his vast experience in the industry and rich repertoire of songs, concertgoers will get their monies worth.

The 30th of July will see the Dome of the AICC, turned into one big arena for a grand musical festival that will go down in the history of the entertainment industry in Ghana as one of the best.

  2. i must agree with u two, it about time we appreciate our own musicians cos some of them are very gud comparing to this naija musicians. i was annoyed with sakyi of TV African when he was interviewing some of the musicians from naija who were to perform on Gh meets Naija, in fact, the way and manner this Sakyi was praising them i just got bored with him. am not against the naija musicians but we as Ghanaians needs to have confidence and appreciate our own musicians. no wonder it said a prophet is never accepted in his own village.
