I have read countless comments and rants on this blog-GhanaCelebrities.Com which suggest that, the Ghanaian Movie Industry unfairly favours light skinned individuals.

Believers of the above statement have always backed their claims with the fact that the Ghanaian movie industry is populated with so many light skinned Actors and Actresses…

Are these people telling me the various light skinned Actors and Actresses are gracing our scenes merely because of their colour and not necessary because they deserve the roles or have the required talents?

How on earth can you convince me that the Majid Michel’s and the Nadia Buari’s are getting their roles purely based on their skin colour?

If light skinned entertainers have undue advantage over dark skinned, then how come Jackie Appiah, John Dumelo, Yvonne Okoro and others have been dominating the movie industry for considerable number of years now?

New Interactive Talk Show In Ghana: Meet The Girls!

Meet The Girls: Frost, Jay, Ayensua & Lisa

These days Talk and Reality Shows in Ghana have become so monotonous, as they follow the same format – an interviewer interacts or interviews the guest. What makes most of these shows so boring is the fact that, questions are made available to the interviewer ahead of the recording or the interview to aid the person in answering the questions.

Sometimes, the interviewee decides or warns the interviewer on which questions to ask and which not to ask. What I’m trying to say here is that, these shows are scripted, making it not real and boring.

The new Talk Show ‘Meet The Girls’ soon to hit the television screens comes with a new concept – totally different from the normal Talk Shows and Reality Shows in Ghana.

‘Meet The Girls’ revolves around four ‘crazy’ beautiful girls who stay in the same house but have their own unique personalities, attitudes and attributes. These girls invite any guests to their house, sometimes at different locations for interactions or discussions to get to know their guest well.

On a normal Talk Show, the girls will follow a designed format but with ‘Meet The Girls’ which is structured than scripted, the girls will have the opportunity to ask their various guests any question; ranging from their personal lives, sexual, marriage and other things they deem important to know about their guests.

Guests to appear on ‘Meet The Girls’ will be mostly celebrities; both local and international of all fields and professions. The girls will then have twenty minutes to interact with their selected guest. The show becomes fun when the girls meet an interesting personality.
