Death has laid its icy hands on yet another member of the Creative Arts in Ghana.
GhanaCelebrities.Com was informed of the death of the award winning playwright and Director of the National Theatre, Efo Kodjo Mawugbe in the wee hours of today.
The outspoken Efo died on Wednesday September 14, 2011 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.
Before his untimely death. Efo Kodjo Mawugbe was a prolific playwright and an actor. He featured in Shirley Frimpong Manso’s ‘Scorned’. He was also a Jury Member of the Ghana Movie Awards.
He was also a judge on TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful reality show and also the Director of the National Theatre of Ghana. He was loved by many viewers of the show.
