Vodafone Ghana Pays D-Black & Kwaku T Off?

Information available to GhanaCelebrities.Com says that Vodafone Ghana has paid off former rap partners DBlack and Kwaku T for unlawful use of their song ‘Move’, in a television commercial.

Last May GhanaCelebrities.Com reported how the former rap partners dragged the mobile telecom giant to the courts for using their song without their knowledge.

A source close to the company hinted GhanaCelebrities.Com that the move is the most suitable option available to them, as they seek to find an amicable solution to the problem.

Funny Face, Bola Ray & DJ Black Headline 11-11-11 Party @ Excel Lounge

Last year, events house, Empire entertainment, against all odds managed to put together the biggest beach jam ever staged in Ghana, with the 10-10-10 beach jam which saw 10 DJs, 10 artistes and 10 MCs doing their thing all on one big stage at the Labadi beach. This event is therefore targeted at people who are are ambitious, fun loving, trendy, out spoken, on the lookout for opportunities in life.

Mr. Root Eye Joins Prime 89.1 FM!

Mr. Root Eye, the crazy dance man on TV3 Music Music has revealed that he has joined Prime 89.1FM, Accra’s newest radio station and is likely to host the late afternoon show. What is unknown to many is that Mr. Root Eye has been a radio presenter for ten years on and off.

Mr. Root Eye started his media career as a radio presenter with Skyy Power 93.5FM in Takoradi in  September, 1997 and took the western regional capital by storm and ruled the scene for the two years that he spent working with Skyy Power FM before he left for Kumasi to work with Ashh 101.1FM.

After working with Ashh FM between 1999 and 2005 he was poached by F. Giant Communications, operators of Fox 97.9FM when the company was setting up Hot 93.9FM in Accra. After a year with Hot FM he left to set up Hyphaus, an advertising and PR Company that grooms and manages up and coming artistes.
