This celebrity madness is getting to the head of some people and it is beginning to get annoying…From those who are buying and selling knock-off Louis Vuitton Bags to people like Delay who are making gobbledygook groundless claims such as ‘I have over 700 shoes’ and ‘ I have more shoes than anyone in Ghana’…
One thing I have come to realize so quick about these wannabe celebrities in Ghana ( we call them celebrities in Ghana because that is all we have but in fact, some are not there yet at all) is their lack of understanding of what the whole fairy-tale of ‘celebrity-ship’ is about.
I do not blame them, they watch too much MTV and therefore think everything they see on there is REAL. Even those that are tagged REALITY SHOWS are never REAL. They are all staged, edited and sometimes even scripted…My theory is that the moment a camera begins to follow a person, she does not become REAL again so don’t be decieved by the countless Mariah Carey shoes you saw on MTV Cribs…
I think we have to start labelling the celebrities we have in Ghana to let them really know where they place in the league…I will try as much as possible to rank them in my writings such as A and Z list henceforth…
Back to the story…Z list TV celebrity Delay over the weekend stated that, she has over 700 Shoes. She is also reported to have told NewsOne in December that ‘In this country, no one has more shoes than I do. From time to time I pack them in bags and dash them out but I still have more and continue to add to my stock. You know I own shoe shops and when I buy my stock, I take the ones I like; sometimes 10 or 15 and after some time, I realized that I have so many shoes and there are times I have about three pairs of the same type of shoes’…
REALLY? Where are the women on here, can you people help me answer this? Where is she keeping all these shoes? How many notable brands of quality shoes do we have in the world? And how many of these 700 shoes Delay claims to have are REAL and KNOCK-OFFS (that is even if she indeed has 700 shoes which I know she got not even more than 6 shoes)…
