February 9: Zambia Beat Ghana By A Lone Goal:
The Chipolopolo of Zambia defeated the Black Stars of Ghana by a lone goal in the Semi Finals of the African Cup of Nations hosted by Gabon and Equitorial Guinea.
Zambia’s substitute Emmanuel Mayuka scored behind the Stars eighteen box with only 12 minutes remaining to be played. With the tournament’s favourites Ivory Coast cruising to the finals by beating the Malians by the same margin via an individual brilliance goal by Arsenal forward Gervinho, they will square off with the Zambians in the finals.
February 9: Factions In The Black Stars Camp After Lose Against Mali:
Few hours after losing to the Zambians in the Semi Finals in the on-going African Cup of Nations in Gabon & Equatorial Guinea, the team’s camp was erupted with factions.
Skipper John Mensah, striker Asamoah Gyan and dribbler Andre Dede Ayew led different factions in the team to rebel against each other as well as point accusing fingers for their lose.
