February 13: John Paintsil Laughs Off Talk Of Disharmony!
Black Star’s defender John Paintsil has laughed off suggestion of disunity in the team’s camp at the just ended African Cup of Nations 2012. He said the players are committed to playing for Ghana and winning.
February 13: 26 Players Invited To Black Starlets Camp!
Twenty-six players have been invited into the national Under-17 male team for camping and training. The 26 players were picked in various teams in the country. They include 3 goalkeepers, 9 defenders, 6 midfielders and 8 strikers or attackers.
February 13: John Mensah Named In AFCON Best XI!
Black Stars captain John Mensah was named in the best eleven of the African Cup of Nations in 2012. The defender was the only Ghanaian player picked by the Confederation of African Football Technical Study Group.
February 14: Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang shirts out!
New t-shirts has been printed for the former first lady of Ghana, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings which seeks to suggest that, the President of the 31st December Women’s Movement will contest the presidential polls in December as an independent candidate. According to reports, the t-shirt has a smiling portrait of the former first lady with inscription “Vote 4 Sankofa, Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings”.
February 15: Woyome Celebrates Valentine’s Day In CID Cell!
Beleaguered businessman and National Democratic Congress financier Alfred Agbesi Woyome spent the Valentine’s Day in the Police CID cells although he has been granted a GHC54 million bail by an Accra Commercial Court.
February 15: Osafo Marfo says “Bature Must Be Dreaming”
Yaw Osafo Marfo, former Sports Minister in the J. A. Kuffour administration reacted to the allegation by Alhaji Iddrisu Bature, Managing Editor of the Al-Hajj Newspaper and NDC guru that, Woyome sponsored his presidential bid for the New Patriotic Party flag-bearership contest for the 2008 elections.
Also the former MP for Akim Oda, Yaw Marfo said Alhaji Bature must be dreaming to think he was sponsored by the ruling National Democratic Congress bankroller.
February 16: Former President Named Tetteh-Quarshie/Mallam Highway After George Bush!
Former President John Agyekum Kuffour has said that he ordered the Tetteh-Quarshie – Mallam highway to be named after the former American president George Walker Bush. He expressed joy that President Mills readily agreed to that.
February 17: Minority Mourning Nana Akufo Addo!
Alhaji Iddrisu Bature, the Managing Editor of the Al-Hajj criticised the minority in parliament after the President’s State of the Nation address. He said the minority’s dress code, which was red and black indicated they were mourning the demise of its president candidate, Nana Akufo Addo in the December Elections.
February 17: Kennedy Agyapong: Common Sense Is The Source Of My Wealth!
Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Assin North said his source of wealth is common sense. At age 30, he had 9 houses in Ghana. Recalling his source of wealth, he said in 1995 he coordinate the American Visa Lottery in Ghana with 2,500 people travelling to the US and earned about US US$55,000 on that venture.
February 18:  Electoral Commission Spells Out Qualification Criteria For Biometric Voter Registration!
 
Dr. Kwadwo Afari Gyan, The Chairman of the Electoral Commission has spelt out qualification critieria for participating in the biometric voter registration exercise, with first phase starting on March 24 to April 2 throughout the country.
February 18: Kwesi Pratt Castigates The Minority!
Kwesi Pratt Jnr., editor of the Insight Newspaper has castigated the minority in parliament for what he calls unnecessary shouting, whistling and brandishing of red cards as the president read the State of the Nation address. He described it as shameful.
