Audio: Akosua Agyepong Descends Heavily On Efya Saying…I Am Going To Stop Efya From Smoking

Akosua Agyepong
Legendary musician Akosua Agyepong who seems to have a good rapport with Efya has expressed her disappointment in Efya’s recent self confession-that she smokes cigarettes.
Few days ago, GhanaCelebrities.Com made it clear that a talented female Ghanaian singer is on a wrong path with drugs and if not advised, her life and career will be crushed down by her strong addiction and possible abuse.

Our publication got people talking and some how, Hitz Fm spoke to talented female singer-Efya in relation to above.  On radio, Efya denied ever doing any drugs but admitted smoking ONLY cigarettes.
Self confession is a step in the right direction but even with this, GhanaCelebrities.Com is reliably told that, not only does Efya smoke cigarettes, she also does WEED which is known by all her close friends and associates…Why then did she has to lie by saying she only smokes cigarettes? What else must she be lying about? Are there more skeletons in the closet?

Though Efya’s revelation did not come as a shock to some of us, it surely pushed Akosua Agyepong back. Speaking on XFM (Audio below), the Ghanaian female musical icon in her total disappointed but somehow optimistic voice said ‘if my sweet girl can come out and say that she smokes, then I would have to talk to her’, adding that, ‘ it isn’t right for Eyfia to say it’.
Akosua Agyepong continued ‘Somebody would say I would want to be like Auntie Akosua. Ok now she goes to my books and realizes that Auntie Akosua chases men, Auntie Akosua likes money, Auntie Akosua drinks. I want to be like Auntie Akosua. So if she does it, she will be where I am’.
GhanaCelebrities.Com is excited to see that various worried individuals have decided to help Efya one way or the other to get out of whatever she is into…Hope she allows herself to be helped. We have done our part, let’s move on…

  1. I’m so excited to see this. Lets all come together and help her. Efya might just be our only hope to go international with Ghanaian music since all the others have been all talk. Lets not turn a blind eye to her damaging habits and then Just like Kiki Djan ended up,we sit on radio and TV and lament. To Efya,it might be hard to believe but trust me we LOVE you thats why everyone’s talking abt your behavior. we can’t all be your haters. Please when Auntie Akosua talks to you,do listen and change.

see, I’m not saying smoking is good, but just cut all the drama here, and stop persecuting her.

    • @Fii,
You do know Obama stopped smoking cigarettes before he became Prez right?
Anyways, I feel its a very serious issue, considering how talented Efya is and the international potential she has, its just good if everybody who can help, helps her in the right direction
We will hate to see her go the Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houstone route.
