1 min

Now let me chip in what I am told and the legal standing of the Kwaw Kesse dentention & deportation from the UK yesterday…From what I know, Kwaw Kesse was holding a UK visitors visa.
Under Part 2 of the UK Immigration Rules,Section 41,  if a person holds a general visitor’s visa-entry clearance  (which I am told Kwaw Kesse was holding), such a person will have to convince an Immigration office that he;
(iii) does not intend to take employment in the United Kingdom; and
(iv) does not intend to produce goods or provide services within the United Kingdom, including the selling of goods or services direct to members of the public; and….
Kwaw Kesse on the other hand is throwing out some cock and bull story (listen below). He claims that, he does not need a visa to travel to UK (provided this is even true and he has a US, Canadian or other passport), unless he holds a British or EU passport, he is still subject to the above-convincing of Immigration officer rule…

  1. ….well Kwaw is married to this old black-American lady (in her late sixties or even seventies) who worked as a senior officer at the American Embassy in Ghana for several years. He probably has an American passport. But hey, if he needed to prove that he has a work permit, then this cock-and bull story wont sell to anyone. You better go sort out your work permit issues on time and be there for the show……

  2. Being married to a citizen still doesn’t get you a US passport. the only way to possess a US passport is by US citizenship which I do not know if Kwaw Kese is a US citizen. However as mentioned earlier, Post 9/11 world it doesn’t matter who the hell you are. When entering any country be it Europe to the US or vice versa (esp when you are black and do not possess an English name) speaking form a relative point of view, you are still subject to any process the Immigration Office deem fit. In his case, I will doubt that he travelled with a US passport because obviously he would have been treated differently and will not be subjected to all that. I will be very sure he travels with a Ghanaian Passport. he’s just bragging. Someone dare him to produce in full glare his US or whatever passport he claims to have
