GhanaCelebrities.Com has exclusively obtained all the names of the Ghanaian movie stars who will have the privilege to be part of this year’s prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Our source tells us that, the 11 movie stars were picked from the over 35 names which were submitted by the Ghana Movie Awards organizers.

The 65th Cannes Film Festival which will as usual take place in France is scheduled to take off on May 16 and come to and end on May 27.
Surprisingly, the name of the Founder of Ghana Movie Awards-Mr Fred Nuamah is missing from the final list. Calls to his office to find out if he will not be leading the delegation this year were not return.
We are not sure basis upon which the below names were selected. With the exception of 2 or 3 names I wish were not there, I am excited for them all…
1. Jackie Appiah
2. Nadia Buari
3. Yvonne Nelson
4. Yvonne Okoro
5. Majid Michel
6.John Dumelo
7. Martha Ankomah
8.Chris Attoh
9.Van Vicker
10. Prince David Osei
11. Juliet Ibrahim
Who do you think should not have been on the list? LOL

Because we as fans as much as the stars them self were all disappointed last year!!! Now my question #2 to you (Chris) is what is the agenda of GH stars at the 65th Cannes Film Festival? Hope to get a reply from you. 🙂

  6. My man Dumelo said as it is!!! We have done well but we need to step up our game;acting ,directing, costumes, scripts, directing etc and stop ripping off all these foreign movie story lines and make real movies!!!
