Last Saturday, urban television network Gh One Entertainment TV and organizers of the most prestigious beauty reality show on Ghanaian TV, Miss Malaika Ghana rolled out the tenth edition of the competition.
It was a spectacular sight within the ultra-modern studios of the Gh One Entertainment TV with a bevy of exceptional beauties numbering over 2000 converging for the Grand National auditions of this year’s edition of Miss Malaika Ghana com.
This year’s auditions goes down as the biggest and most attended in the history of the competition with such a record number of applicants. It also remains the biggest number ever at any Ghanaian beauty reality series.
As at 8AM, the queues had begun forming with applicants going through the confirmation process to ensure they were successfully registered and eligible to partake in process with the highest possibility of turning their lives around.
The preliminary rounds saw the candidates auditioned in groups by a select team who looked out for personality and exquisiteness. The successful ladies moved on to the studios for the main auditions by the judges.
The judges comprised of media practitioner and a regular on the competition, William Asiedu, professional photographer Rodney Quarcoo and former Miss Malaika Queen, Miss Ama Nettey. The three were tasked with selecting 70 beauties for the next stage.
Coming Saturday June 30th 2012 will witness the 70 selected ladies converging at the studios of the Gh One Entertainment TV for the semifinals stage of auditions. It surely will be a tall order for the 30 ladies to be selected from the semifinals stage.
