PHOTOS + Star Actress Jackie Appiah Bags Another Award-The National Youth Achievers Awards 2012

3 min

Either you love her or loathe her; she keeps rising and bagging all the prestigious awards…

At the recently held National Youth Achievers Awards, Star Actress Jackie Appiah took home the 2012 National Youth Achievers Awards for Performing Arts.

At the event, she was given a big hand shake by the President of Ghana- HE John Dramani Mahama. (Yeap, President of Ghana himself gave her the well done).

The National Youth Achievers Award (NYAA) is a national recognition platform designed to publicly honour exceptional youths between the ages of 15 – 35, who have excelled in various sectors of the country, with the hope of preparing them for responsible leadership.

I have even lost count of the number of Awards Jackie Appiah has taken home since she started acting!

    1. @Ball so hard miss dior, Where the haters at, she needs yall for motivation n more awards, lol, the more y hate the more she wins

    1. @nanya martinson, and so we are happy for her and the president has giving my star an award to add icing to the cake. I love you girl.

    2. @nanya martinson, and so she won award and you didn’t the president was also present which you have never encountered in your life or years to come. Skin pain. Good work Jackie you are the only star who deserves it.

    1. Jackie Appiah is the only actress I like and love to buy her movies she is really classy. My uncle said he sat 2 seats away from you in first class and you are a really nice person he said you bought gifts for all the kids on board from the duty free stand. Gosh you are really a star.

  2. Chris I thout u said jackie was not on twitter? U said @iamjackieappiah was fake rite? Well,, the person tweet pics from this award long before ur did, the person sometimes tweet personal pics of jackie like, her at her hotel gettin ready or in Freetown with her friends, I kinda believe its either Jackie or someone close to her, like her PA or somthing.

  3. I love this Jackie girl she is really humble. She is such a star. Thank God the president and the country new she deserves to be awarded.

  4. lol…chris u really looooove jackie paaa…i watched the event myself last night…and the president didn’t give her a handshake…all the winners including shirley frimpong manso were all trying to get close to the president for a pix….jackie was standing in a queue just like everybody else to shake the president’s hand…so ur informant lied to u on that one……..

      1. @abena, you are right…but she went to shake the president….the president was told to take pix with only the two young professional leader winners…but all the other winners wanted to get close to the president for a pix too…I guess to make themselves look good…

I mean I’m happy she won, but coming from someone who actually watched the show…President Mahama didn’t volunteer to shake her hand, rather vice versa

        1. @lilyy,
Skin pain, jealous to the bones Kaiiiiii. What kinda of jealousy is this? I watched to and the president was even talking to her.

          1. @Lisa, if that’s how u want to look at it, that’s ur own business…clearly, we were both watching different shows….he talked to her when she came to take pix with her…anyways I dnt have time for ur shinanigans…thats my opinion from what I saw on GTV…thanx

    1. @Eka, So what is wrong with the same hair style… if that is what suite her what is wrong with it….mean people notice every string in somebody hair…jezzzzz

  5. What’s wrong with some ghanaian women who don’t know how to apply the makeup before going out? The woman with the golden eyeshadow’s face is way more lighter than her body.
