Ghana Will Not Burn

In America or many parts of the western world, it takes only few hours to know who has won an election. They worry little about peace because of measures which have been in place for several years.

Due to snatching of ballot boxes, inciting violence and instigating various crimes against each other in Africa, the common denominator or word which always reside on the lips of many in any election year is PEACE.

With barely two weeks to the general elections, there have been several songs released to preach peace. To cap it all, a new movie has been shot to add to the peace messages being preached.

I watched the trailer ‘The Pledge’ few minutes ago and it’s attention-grabbing.

It’s set to enlighten the voter on what goes on behind the scene amongst the sitter President John Evans Atta Mills (Played by Fred Amugi), the two former presidents, Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor (played by his own son).

The trailer should tell you more about the plot. It stars Adjetey Anan , Roselyn Ngissah, Kofi Adjorlolo, Edward Agyekum Kuffuor, Sahyoun, Fred Amugi, Paulina Oduro, Akorfa Asiedu.

Before its grand premiere on November 30 at Silverbird Cinema…It will first be shown to the Security Services at the British Council on November 28.

Ghana will not burn.
