  2. Hmmm Ghana WAKE UP PLEASE these politicians are chopping the country’s money…. they do not care about the average Ghanaian people .  Yet again, EC and Afri Gyan has succumbed to the bribes of the NDC and rigged the votes. Four more years of underdevelopment masked with fake democracy. In my opinion and in the opinion of many others [in the diaspora] the wrong party was declared winner. The beauty of NPP’s policies such has Free SHS was overshadowed by imposed tribalism and unnecessary insults . As I see some supporters in jubilation I ask myself  what benefits have they seen in the last four years [besides a useless cedis, high prices, inaccessible education and healthcare…. I could go on] and what benefits do they think they will see in the four years to come. Bush destroyed America in 8 years.. let  us see what NDC will do to Ghana. At the end of the day its not about ethnic/ tribal opposition, its not about Ashanti vs. Ewe, its about clear concise achievable policies that could better the lives of all Ghanaian’s who cannot afford the luxury of traveling abroad once the going gets tough!!! FREE SHS was simply about making education accessible to the everyday youth and children who have been forced to engage in prostitution [hence rising HIV rates] street selling and crime[ these are just some issues that  are on rise in Ghana] take a look at our illiteracy rate and you will understand the need and necessity of free shs. in all i pray for peace in Ghana but i do believe that a serious  cloud of regret will soon rain over Ghana.

    • @dede, I don’t think it’s fair to accuse the EC and Afari Gyan of being corrupt when the issue has not been taken to court (with concrete evidence) for the court to declare this. I was in Ghana from 2000 to 2009, all 3 elections I voted for NPP but I find it interesting that this same Afari Gyan who has declared elections for both NPP and NDC before is being accused of being biased. I personally admire the man a lot especially since 2000 when he stood his ground to declare NPP as winners and said Rawlings had to hand over power. Anytime a party loses (be it NPP or NDC), they say ‘Afari Gyan and EC are corrupt. This time, people even went to the extent of saying Joy fm and peacefm are now NDC stations! The same Joy fm that NDC had problems with and boycotted some months ago is now NDC?This is unfair. We have laid down procedures for dealing with these issues (eg. lodging complaints with EC, suing in court etc.) and these should be followed rather than blankly saying ‘someone cheated’ etc. It doesn’t augur well for our country’s peace to do this, Please.

      • @Susie,I so much agree with dede EC and afari Gyan had a whole lot to do with it and is surely corrupt
What did he do when NPP find out what happened to one them votes? Nothing they ignored it what
Happened to those voting fax that was send? Nobody knows

        • @Dr. Miyagi, thank you for your analysis. If Npp presented their evidence of rigging to the EC and he still announced anyway, it may just mean that he didn’t think the evidence was valid. The next step now is for the npp to take the case to court. who knows, maybe the court may say it’s true or not. but I think it’s unfair to say that EC and afari gyan have taken money just because they decided the matter in a certain way. does it mean that in 2000 and 2004 when I voted for NPP and afari gyan declared them as winners, they too paid him money?

          • @Susie, you make sense, but let me tell you something in Ghana in times like this there will be some corruption some where,,especially Ghana police play huge parts in the bribery.

I was once a victim at kotoka international airport ,can you imagine the immigration officers demanding money from me..Ghana is full of corruption and I won’t play politics with this issue.

          • @27cдгibre(Ф_ф), I agree with you. All I’m saying is that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty, including the EC and dr. afari gyan. it could be that they took money or they did not. who knows? the best thing is for the issue to be taken to court as the law demands for the court to proclaim on this matter. until that’s done, it’s really unfair to go around calling someone a thief etc. thank you.

          • @Susie,well to be honest it’s too early to say or accused them if there was any kind of money involve but I know For sure that EC and Gyan did not play by the rules as we all know that politics is a dangerous games and full of mind games there is always a ghost behind but I’m 99% sure that Gyan and EC cooperated with NDC what seems to amuse me was the voting numbers of NDC where being added with some numbers even though and with NPP they where being subtracted

          • @Dr. Miyagi, lol 99% sure. hmmm, my brother, all i’m saying is that whether or not we’re sure we still have to follow the due process. that’s what Rev. Asante and the peace council said today. I’ve always voted for NPP and I trust that they believe in due process and so I was so sad yesterday to see NPP supporters besieging EC headquarters and I was like what’s happening? If there are allegations of fraud, this issue should goto court, let’s all hear the NPP side and the EC side and let the court decides. But before this happens, it’s a bit unfair to say that someone is a cheat etc. I hope you feel me?

    • @dede,you make allot of sense NDC has damage allot of things white the late mills passed away Ghana was in debts
If 7 billion now it has risen to 29 billion last I was watching a documentary how Chinese people have taken over
The gold and are making almost 80.000 a day they pay the chief or whoever is in charges of the land so much money
Bring their own equipment and weapons i repeat weapons to guide their land in case any body trespasses
It’s redicilious I know there was a fraudelement going which was spotted and raised yet nothing was done about it
Ghanaians always complain how there is no job no money for them to pay their rent but get they couldn’t make
Any difference but that’s Ghana polititician for you full of bribe etc but as for me I have decided that anybody
Who calls me for money or whatever better think twice since majority think that that the ones living  abroad
Are having good life the only thing we can do is to accept it and move and see what will happen after 4 years

  3. @Dr. Miyagi …… its SERIOUS [amakye dede voice] don’t even get me started on the Chinese and Indian presence in Ghana and the continuous murdering and killing of our people and our land- this is new day colonialism that has been happening for a while now and i haven’t heard any political party propose any action towards this how can a foreigner come and present violence and territorialize our land without any consequences.  The Ghanaian Chinese relationship is highly flawed with corruption and backdoor transactions – also don’t forget the loan that atta mills signed off and requested from China before his death to which the Ghanaian people will see nothing of. In my opinion Ghana needs to stop looking elsewhere for assistance and look within.  Everything they need for progression and maintenance is in Ghana. There are so many intelligent minds that are undiscovered in Ghana simply because of inaccessibility to school, employment, and even governance! Politics is a dirty game and Ghanaians are not ready to play clean!! Instead of looking inside Ghana and recognizing the potential of our and citizens  especially the youth- they look elsewhere to new global powers like China and India to come a build fancy malls and infrastructure that will collapse in less than a year!!!
