WEEKLY DISCUSSION: Cheating On Your Partner! Is It Ever Justifiable?

cheating

No one will clearly or easily accept that he/she has cheated on a partner. And it is not probably because the person has not cheated but simply to avoid the immoral eye being brought to look at him or her.

When close friends are together, they are able to share their dirty cheating habits, especially when they are all doing it behind their partners…

Not cheating on your partner has been put in the same soup as Not Sinning. Despite the fact that we all forbid sins and love God, we constantly find ourselves tied with sins.

I guess Jesus knew we could not stop sinning and that is why He taught us to say ‘…Forgive our sins as we forgive those who sin against us’.

Same way we sin despite the fact that we love God, many of us cheat on our partners even though we love or claim to love them.

Does the fact that we cannot stop cheating on our partners make cheating justifiable?

Deep within us, we may wish we are faithful to our partners but for whatever reason, we may find ourselves doing otherwise.

Does the fact that we cannot control our desires or stick to what we REALLY want make cheating justifiable?

Do you think cheating on your partner is ever justifiable? Under what circumstance do you think cheating should be allowed or be justifiable?

Cheating in this context refers to all the dirty dealings that you have to do in hiding, away from your partner-especially those that involve the opposite sex…

Can you REALLY love a person and still cheat?

Let’s get talking…

  1. Under no circumstances is it okay to cheat. cheating should not be an option At all. When you cheat you will bring more issues to the table than whats already there. You loose the level of respect.

So to be cheating is never justified! I believe people do cheat on the ones they believe they love. Notice I said believe they love. I feel if you truly love someone you will not cheat on them. So many men and women use that ” but i love you ” line just to try and help their justification as to why they would deceive and betrayal the person who loves them.

To me love is more than a word and more than a feeling. Its a state of mind ! And in that state the only person on your mind is the one you truly love. So if when you are in situation in which cheating can occur if you truly love someone your mind will tell you to go home to your partner , because the mind controls the body.

My question to whoever comment is, is being in a relation/marrying young the solution to sexual impurity and immorality?

  2. We have gotten to a point in this world where people would try to find senseless reasons for their actions.Wherever this article is coming from is very shallow.Comparing God’s love and forgiveness to cheating is very dumb.People who cheat loose so much but they never realize till its too late. The more a guy cheats, the more weaker they become. The more a woman cheats, the more worthless and fragile/ugly they become.
