Stop Giving Your Money To Ghanaian Stars, Especially The Ladies Living Outside Ghana…

stop.fw

From afar, this seems like none of my ‘goddam’ business. After all, if a young lady living in the US or UK is stupid enough to work her butt off at one of those Super Markets and decide to hand her hard earned cash to a Ghanaian movie star or musician, what has that got to do with me?

However, I wish things were simple and I did not have to receive numerous calls and emails from many of these hurt and duped ladies living abroad.

Up to now, I still cannot understand why anyone will buy plane tickets and continue to shop for a celebrity, all in the name of a relationship which the former thinks will bring marriage.

On a reasonable evaluation, isn’t it the celebrity who must rather spend some cash if it becomes necessary? Why must the innocent young girl or man struggling through education and working hard to fix his/her life spend on any Ghanaian celebrity?

For the last few years (I have decided to write about this today because I just got off the phone with another victim), I have received emails and phone calls from persons (mostly young ladies) in UK, USA and Canada who claim to have been cheated out of money/scammed  by certain Ghanaian Celebrities.

Most of these victims have one thing in common…They assumed to have been in a relationship with these Ghanaian stars. And out the relationship, money is borrowed or willingly spent on the celebrity-mostly buying them plane tickets to visit and shopping for them.

In all these cases, I’ve told the victims one thing; forget what you see on TV or what these people tell you, most of them are BROKE so the moment money becomes a subject of your dealings with them, just run away…

What else can I say?

I have had long separate conversation with two of our Ghanaian Celebrities on this issue and have even forward emails from people who have stated that, they have unfairly spent money on these celebrities when they thought they had a relationship which did not exist.

According to one victim, a certain Ghanaian celebrity spoke to her mother, pastor and visited her family several times anytime he was in the States (Plane tickets paid by her). She thought marriage was near the door since the conversations the celebrity had with her pastor and mother were about marriage…

She believed things were real and after pouring all her heart and money into things, it turned out to be a ‘freaking scam’ (those were her phrase).

For some reason, people think GhanaCelebrities.Com is the right place to fall with such complaints.

It may hurt, especially if you have spent your money or time on any of these celebrities but the truth is that; GhanaCelebrities.Com cannot help any of you guys out there.

You must use your own common sense…!

Most of these celebrities have serious partners so the moment they start talking about Love to you, be careful and make sure they are not looking for anything more than that…

Some of these celebrities are filled with pure GREED. What else will push a celebrity who has a little in his/her bank account to deceive an innocent person working hard abroad to use his/her little ‘pay cheque’ on him/her?

To those who have fallen victim of any of such things, I say SORRY and to those who are yet to fall into the pot-USE YOUR HEAD!

I just think I should let anyone who is luckily enough to read this know of what might be going on—as the rate at which people are contacting us is becoming alarming!

  1. 2. Some of us women are big fools. Seeing someone on Tv does not mean they have money and as Chris mentioned, most of these celebrities are BROKE, They lived with their parents and cannot afford anything substantive. All they do is buy fake stuff and show them off, just to fool people like those falling victim.

I will never give my money to any star. STAR my foot. If you want to travel, buy your own ticket. cheap people called stars in Ghana

    • @27cдгibre(Ф_ф), thanks to this! Naive is the word and not stupid. Normally, It starts on a sympathetic note. it sounds so genuine that u wants to help without being asked on IOU (loan) i will pay u soon when this n this is through or at so so n so time.

Then the next story follows, if u’ve not been through it before, u will send more cash.

But please, guys in LONDON, USA too are doing girls, so leave the wanabes in Ghana alone!
Believe me you, not all girls r desperate as it seems, but u try to help out on situations u thought is in need, and u are rob dry. Next the guys start to label or tag you.

Any man boy, who eats or chop my money with a bad intent will have wholes in his bank account , wallet, pockets, piggy bank in fact his palm will go dry double!!

At least a single GC guy will or may be Guilty of this “crime”

  8. I totally agree with Chris on this celebrity scam saga, however, I want to make it clear that some of the scammers are not real celebrities. A case in point, a friend of mine called me on my cell phone and was so excited about the thought of buying a plane ticket for P square to come and visit her in America. As soon as she mentioned that to me, I quickly alerted her that it was a scam, but, she didn’t believe me because she has already falling in love with the said P square. I took a ride to her house and asked her to log onto facebook which she did, I then told her to enter P square in the search button and see how many P squares would come up, when she typed it she couldn’t believe her eyes there were over 100 P square accounts on facebook, so i asked her to point out which one is the real P square, she was so confused that she didn’t know what to do. I told to her that, if it was the real P square he will not ask her for a plane ticket because he is already rich. She finally listen to me and back off from that scammer.

  12. I don’t mean to be rude but I believe it takes only a desperate fool attention seeking girl/woman to toil hard and give it all to a man for the sake of love.

I mean, why would you sponsor a guy living in Ghana to come to visit u abroad and spend all your savings shopping for him. If you aint seeking for his attention and love, why would you go to that extents cos for for all I know,  it shouldn’t take you a month to know that you are playing with fire (golddigger).

How can you claim to be having a relationship with a guy and not knowing any of his relatives. My foolish ladies please listen, if it was a real love, he would have introduced you to his family. He wouldn’t have squeezed all your lil sayings from your cutie purse or wouldn’t have watch you spend all your savings on him
    .
A man that loves a lady, respect, care and put their needs first not his. And you would have at least know one or two people from his side so at time of trouble,  you can seek for their help  and not GC Chris Vincent. When you were flushing your so damn called savings on the celebrity,  was GC there or did he helped convince you to give it to him.

It either this girls are lying or like I said, they are desperate attention seekers looking forward to be called so so and so girlfriend or wife.
Girls of today dont value their worth and will do anything for a guy’s attention even when they know that they relationship wouldn’t work.
Girls of today, do not mind dating a married guy or a guy in open relationship,  for as long as a guy looks good, knows how to dress and appear to be in the public eye, thats all matters to them.

So to my immature victimized ladies, why complain now? If you think these celebs have defrauded you, PLS YOU KNOW THE POLICE STATIONS right OR better still the  RADIO STATIONS IN GHANA. REPORT IT TO THEM AND THE CAN MAKE IT PUBLIC for everyone to know who these CELEBS are.

If someone steals from you, you report them to the police not internet blogger. I am beginning to believe that it was a business affair. ”You spend on them CELEPS to satisfied you and when they were done, you probably wanted more and they said no.”

If not then mind you, there is a pricetag that comes with dating a celebrity. You dated them for fame and they spend your money. Its a tit for tat so please no more complaint. Thanks ladies 😛
