It’s One Big Power House Now: Kevin-Prince Boateng Returns To The Black Stars

It is one big power house now…

Just 2 days after it was announced that the Ayew Brothers-Andre and Jordan Ayew have returned to the Black stars, Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi has confirmed Kevin-Prince Boateng’s return to the Black Stars too.

And we hear Michael Essien will soon be playing too.

According to Ghanasoccernet.Com

Early this week, the former Germany youth international is reported to have ended his self-imposed exile and ready for international football.

A Black Stars management committee member and politician Yaw Boateng Djan is said to have led the discussions on his return.

Boateng quit the Black Stars in September 2011 claiming playing for club and country was having a toll on his health.

“KP Boateng had confirmed to the coach and my good self that he was coming back to play,” Nyantakyi said on SuperSport’s Soccer Africa programme on Thursday night.

“Let me confirm that before Kwesi Appiah selected his team for the Sudan game (in Kumasi) Kevin had told the coach and me that he was available for that game.

“Unfortunately, a week before that game, he picked up an injury during training with AC Milan but he told us that he would participate in the team’s games in June.”

Boateng, a 2010 FIFA World Cup star, will be available for selection in September this year when the team play Zambia at home in a final 2014 World Cup qualifier

  1. SOME OF THESE FOREIGN PLAYERS BELITTLE THEIR HOME TEAM AND QUICKLY RUN BACK WHEN THEY FORESEE THIER CHANCES OF PLAYING LOCALLY. LOOKS LIKE THE LOCAL TEAM IS LIKE THIER LAST RESORTS. I THINK WITH OR WITHOUT HIM BLACK STARS CAN EXCEED. “MO KYERE MO HO DODO”

  2. We need a footballer that sticks with Ghana through thick and thin, not a World cup footballer, this is so unfair for the other footballers
