I have no idea why people continue to goof in the face of the Power of the Court just because f their political sentiments. I keep saying, keep your sentiments in your pocket or confine them to the privacy of your homes or to your special political circles.
When it comes to politics in Ghana, there is too much bigotry going on. Your views are yours, you ar allowed to have them but no, you are not allowed to force them down anybody’s throat.
We need to start not only respecting, but celebrating other political views. It is necessary for our development.
In an interesting developing story before the Supreme Courts today, 3 persons notable among which is Stephen Atubiga, have been hauled before the nine member panel of judges.

They seem to have so soon forgotten that the court dealt with Sammy Awuku last week for careless remarks on radio-Angel Fm. Or perhaps they expected to get away with it because they are members of the ruling party?
Stephen Atubiga is said to have openly stated on Asempa FM’s ‘Ekosii Sen’ programme on Tuesday : “We are prepared to meet the NPP boot for boot, We are ever ready; we will not hand over…even if the NPP wins, it will be a bitter sweet victory because the Ghana cannot contain all of us”
His statements were found to be very alarming and disturbing even more so because coming from Bawku- a town that is continuously in chaos due to civil unrests, he was expected to be more responsible with volatile statements.
Interestingly, Stephen Atubiga has begged the Judges to Temper justice with mercy.
