Singer-Lauryn Hill turned herself into a Connecticut federal prison today to start serving her 3 month sentence after pleading guilty to three counts of tax evasion for forgetting to file $1.8 million in returns from 2005 to 2007.
Reports say, the soulful singer checked into the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury this morning for a minimum security stay in barracks-like housing.
And if you are wondering, Lauryn will not be treated any different…She will be kept with all the other inmates and will be treated as anyone else in there.
