MISS GHANA 2013: Miss World 2012 And Team Arrive In Accra Today

An eight-member delegation from the Miss World organization will arrive in Accra tonight, to set off a week-long activity-driven working tour.

Chairwoman of the Miss World organization Julia Morley and Miss World 2012 Wen Xia Yu as well as six others will touch down this evening at the Kotoka International Airport.

The team is here to lend support to the Miss Ghana Foundation’s charity projects in Northern Ghana, which includes construction of some two Bore Holes at the Nabuli and Leili Witch Camps.

Miss Morley and her team will be in the Northern Region for two days, during which they will meet with the Regional Minister, the Tamale Chief and also visit the Tamale Children’s Home.

The team will also visit the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, which the Miss Ghana Foundation is raising funs to renovate.

The delegation is also expected to pay a courtesy call on President John Mahama.

And to crown what should be an exciting one-week visit, the Miss World team will attend the finals of the Miss Ghana pageant at the Banquet Hall on Saturday July 20.

The team will leave on Sunday July 21…
