PHOTOS From Becca’s ‘Time 4 Me’ Album Launch Feat. Kojo Antwi, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Hon. Nana Oye Lithur, George Darko, Efya & Others…

Unless someone points me to a contrary fact, I think I can conclude my observation with the assumption that, Becca is the most well branded contemporary female Ghanaian musician.

From her public image to music, she seems to have a perfect understanding of her brand, thereby making her the most respected and patronized contemporary female Ghanaian artiste.

Over the years, she has succeeded in pulling high profile Ghanaian politicians, businessmen and musicians to her concerts.

She repeated this last week when she launched her second studio album-Time 4 Me in Accra. Her much respected brand attracted legendary Ghanaian musicians-Kojo Antwi, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, George Darko and other esteemed musicians to her album launch.

GhanaCelebrities.Com can confirm that, the above musicians sat through the whole event to enjoy Becca’s splendid performance—with many high profile individuals walking up stage to dance.

Having Kojo Antwi and others to willingly come to your concert or album launch shows how strong and relevant your musical talent is—it takes a lot of hard work and talent to impress such musical icons…

Using Becca as a case study, I will find time and focus an article on how to create and maintain a respected brand as a musician in Ghana.

Also at the launch of Becca’s ‘Time 4 Me’ album were Kofi Amoabeng, Efya, Richie, Nana Oye Lithur (Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection), United Nations Aids representative to Ghana- Mr Gaile and several others…

Even at a price of $500 per table, the place was packed!

  1. She looks GOOD! Hair looks great, figure in the first picture is AMAZING, her dress is the bomb. And you’re right, she’s really done well in selling her brand- her marketing team deserve an award! I think that the only thing she needs to do to make it big internationally is for her to work on her voice (& get some good song writers). It’s funny that Efya is the opposite. Her voice is top-knotch & sounds like Mary J Blige’s but she needs to get her marketing together so that she can go far.

  2. So damn true. Well apart from E.L no one comes close to Becca in terms of marketing. I remember her from her mentor days. She’s come a long way which she deserves very much so. For Efya sigh… This girl could be the next Asa or Nneka and even way better but she lacks focus and a good marketing team because she’s way better than Becca in terms of singing and having mind blowing songs, apart from that this girl lacks everything that Becca has.

  4. point of correction…all the people there were invited…its nt like dey decided dat “oh I hear Becca is launching her album…I got to be there!” dnt exaggerate it…Secondly, Becca does have a powerful brand…she’s not d best female act in Ghana tho…Efya undoubtedly is…But Becca and her team r doing everything right…they r nt joking mehn…I respect Kiki Banson for this. EKB records have done a fantastic job with her. And she looks lovely. Kudos!

  6. HAHAHAHA. I KNOW THE +233 JAZZ BAR VERY VERY WELL. INDEED ALL THE PEOPLE YOU SAW THERE WERE ALL INVITED THEY DIDNT PAY EVEN A SINGLE PIN TO ENTER, I KNOW GHANAIANS VERY WELL AS MY AKWAPEM MOTHER. WHEN THEY COME TO THE 233 EVEN TO PAY A CHEAP 20 CEDIS ON A NORMAL FRIDAY IS A FIGHT FOR THEM AND WHEN THEY ENTER ALL THEY SIT DOWN AND DRINK IS SPRITE, COKE THE HIGHEST IS GUINNESS. I AM STILL WONDERING HOW COME THE +233 IS STILL ABLE TO FUNCTION, CAUSE I DOUBT IF THEY ARE MAKING ANY PROFIT. . ON THE OTHER SIDE, HAS BECCA CHANGED HER BAND??, JUST WONDERING CAUSE I KNOW THE GUYS BEHIND THE INSTRUMENTS ARE NOT THE ONES THAT USUALLY PLAYS FOR HER. ANYWAYS I HOPE WE GHANAINS WOULD START APPRECIATING LIVE MUSIC AND ALWAYS TRY TO PAY GATE FEES AT EVENTS AND STOP DRINKING COKE AND SPRITE IN SUCH HIGH PLACES, IS SO A SHAME, YOU NEED TO STAY IN YOUR HOUSE TO DRINK YOUR COKE AND SPRITE. HOW COULD YOU SPEND 5 GHC ON A FRIDAY NIGHT AND YOU USE A RANGE ROVER??, I BET THERE IS MORE THE EYES DONT SEE.
