Flower Girl1

The much loved and highly anticipated African movie-‘Flower Girl’ which stars Damilola Adegbite, Chris Attoh, Chuks Chukwujekwu and several talented actors is coming to various UK Cinemas from Friday, 4th Ocotober, 2013, courtesy of Talking Drum Entertainment.

Ahead of the UK premiere and Cinema release, a new trailer for ‘Flower Girl’ has been released and we love it…

Though this year has been pretty slow in terms of African blockbusters, ‘Flower Girl’ has successfully and singlehandedly kept various Cinemas alive in Africa. From 4th October, African movie lovers in the UK will have the opportunity to catch up on the fun and be part of the ‘Flower Girl’ experience…

Even if names like Chris Attoh and Damilola Adegbite are not synonymous to QUALITY to you, the fact that the romantic comedy is directed by Michelle Bello with the help of award winning filmmaker Mahmood Ali-Balogun (Tango with Me) should tell you about the movie’s high standard.

If I am not far-stretching, I can say ‘Flower Girl’ has been the most successful African Movie this year—so far. And lucky for those in the UK, it is coming to you doors…

In Flower Girl ‘Kemi (DAMILOLA ADEGBITE) is dying to get married. Umar (CHRIS ATTOH) is dying to get ahead in his career.

When their relationship hits troubled waters, Kemi seeks the help of movie superstar Tunde (CHUKS CHUKWUJEKWU) and they hatch a plan to get Kemi what she wants – but the plan doesn’t quite work out as they anticipate and soon they realise why people say love is a funny thing’.

From 4th October 2013, ‘Flower Girl’ will be showing at Odeon Greenwich, Odeon Surrey Quays, Odeon Streatham, VUE Stratford, Cineworld Enfield (TBC), Cineworld Wood Green (TBC)
