It does not seem like 8 years to us—we remember it like it just happened today.

On 8th September, 2005, Ghanaian movie star and one of the best to have ever graced our screen-Suzzy Williams, aged 23 at the time, met her untimely death.

Suzzy Williams was extensively popular to the point that, Ghana’s Art Centre refused to allow her body to lie in state, fearing it would be unable to accommodate the large numbers of mourners expected, GhanaCelebrities.Com has learnt.

Suzzy shot to fame with her excellent role play in movies like Bloody Mary, Calamity, The Comforter and Mother’s Heart…

She went on to win the hearts of many in productions like;  Sisterhood, Fresh Trouble, Ugly Side of Beauty, War for War, Together Forever and Sun-City…

GhanaCelebrities.Com spoke to Nana Ama McBrown who was a friend of Suzzy Williams, and she told us how unbelievable it was for her when she heard about the death on radio on her way to Kumasi…

According to Nana Ama McBrown, she could not believe it…She had to call Actor Kofi Adjorlolo who confirmed the sad news to her… She adds that, all Suzzy Williams wanted in life was LOVE.
