Senegalese/American musician-Akon flew into Ghana over the weekend and he has been lodging at the popular Movenpick Hotel in Accra…
Despite several people having sighted him going in and out of the hotel, his mission in Ghana has not been clear—until today.
We’ve gathered that, Akon flew into Ghana to shoot a music video for his collaboration-Roll It with Nigerian artistes-Banky W and Wizkid.
And we are told the video is being directed by the Ghanaian director-Gyo Gyimah.
There are speculations of Akon holding a concert in Ghana while he is out here…
An American come to Ghana let his video directed by Phamous philms and Ghanaians going to south Africa and using directors from outside Ghana, hmmmm

@tina, i know but he got access to all the good directors in this world, i remember he brought Gil Green some years back to direct Tic Tac kangaroo, he can even bring Director X who is now doing well, he could av even go in for South African or nigerian Directors,

I plan to relocate to either SA or Namibia in next 2 yrs…already planning on wht to invest…we all hv reasons why we wanna be somewhere so it’s no big deal. I bet some SA’s n Namibians are also Ghanaian wannabes…i love GH, but i prefer Namibia n SA, where u can play around with wildlife, make special reports on animal life, beautiful scenery, black n white Africans mix together, not too stereotype…it’s a whole beautiful world on it own…that’s where i see a home n will call a home pretty soon…visit to GH will nt hurt the bank…the choice is always @ ur disposal…ma prospect for Ghana…not so sure…still doesn’t change my believe that, Ghana is the most peaceful c’try on the African continent…

@Cece enima, lol, he has gone off the main story a lil, but i think i understand him a lil, he want to tell me everybody has a choice, Akon can choose to come to Ghana to shoot his music videos and Ghanaian musician can also choose to travel outside to shoot their music videos, but the money they re spending outside is huge,if u give to Ghanaian director he can deliver something gud and it will also help the director to inverst money in his production, he can buy modern equipment ect.
