I am current on lunch break at work and thinking about how horrible my weekend, I’ve decided to ask how yours was and get to know what you were up to…
As we always say, this column gives us the needed chance to talk about what we did over the weekend as a family—the one time we can all leave the celebrity favouritism and be real with each other.

So this is how my Horror over the weekend started…
My next door neighbour had her whole flat flooded somewhere last week and they decided to break certain walls, take off some parts of the roof and get things fixed.
They sent out notes to the other flats so I was aware this was going to happen on Saturday morning. Yet, I was pretty upset when the noise and hammering waked me up at around 9am after a late night out with the girls on Friday.
Getting out of bed tired and with a deep rooted hangover was difficult, but I decided to get into the kitchen and do some cleaning as the neighbour sort herself out with the building work.
After almost an hour of cleaning the plates, bowls and the kitchen tiles, I decided to open a cupboard down the sink where I stock my washing up liquid, washing up powder and other things.
It was when I opened it that the horror movie came right into my house. The moment I opened it, about 6 big rodents which I think are RATS rushed out on me. I started running and tripped on the floor.
It was horror lying on the floor and having two of these animals running over me. You can imagine the screaming and shouting, as if I was being killed.
Eventually, they ran under the dish washer and I ran outside only to be told my the two builders that, the rodents may have been living in my neighbour’s wall. And because they were breaking it, they must have run to finding a hiding place in my apartment.
To these men, it was nothing…They laughed since I had to rush out with my morning coat.
Why is my flat their hiding place I asked? Damn!
That was a horrible experience and I have not been to the kitchen since Saturday. I do not intend to go there anytime soon, as I have locked the kitchen door. They can stay there and rot!

My weekend was pretty an all in affair. I did nothing on Saturday and on Sunday, stayed in bed with the night before’s take away to watch most of the TV episodes I miss during the week.
Two friends visited and we had some bottles going on the Sunday afternoon. I will die if I saw those rodents close to me lol
Mine was boring. I stayed at home all weekend watching tv and babysitting ma niece. I did go outside in the eve to catch some fresh air. Hope this weekend ll be fun
I did my Christmas shopping on Saturday …. Boi it’s a relief. I was 12 years of slave which I found very disturbing to watch Sunday went to church and went to my mom house for Sunday dinner which we do every Sunday and it’s doesn’t. I will say my weekend was good for me cos I got my Christmas shopping off my head.
