In spite of her ‘cosmic pile’ of talent and strong desire to achieve greatness, Efya seems to be trapped in an inescapable room full of substandard musicians/individuals—making it difficult for the right persons to take her serious, let alone put the much needed investment risk on her shoulders…
Probably, it is time she considers a new musical strategy, management and audience—a step which may end the many years of relentless subjugation her musical talent has seen.
I have always said this, Efya has the ability to reach the status of Asa, Nneka, Sade or even better, but her management, friends, and the people around her aren’t allowing her. Infact her stupid ‘nonchalant’ attitude deprives her from being one of the greats in the world. Really wish she had a strong management like Becca.
