  1. Chris listen to my song;

The dress is MINE……………………… it will look great on my banging body

My favourite celebrity is Ama K Abebrese and this is because she has maintained her dark color in an industry where everyone seem to be lightening up.

The story that caught my attention most is the Emelia Brobbey London stealing story. I think it is your story of the year lol

  6. My favorite Ghanaian celebrity is Funny Face. I personally like people who are original and humble. In my eyes,  even with his new found fame he is still the same jovial and energetic swaggon papa all Ghanaians have learned to love.Celebrities need to understand that  fans make them who they are. Funny face understands this concepts and hasn’t allowed the fame to turn him into something he is not.

  13. My favourite celebrity is Jackie Appiah. I like her not because she is your favourite as wel. I like her because she is down to earth; very humble. My favourite story was wen Jackie gave gifts to the student of Ebenezer hills school during her birthday. The fact she paid their BECE registration for all final year students was so touching. I deserve it because after so much problems i have encountered this year, i think i need to pamper myself this December to cool my head. Plus i know i know it will fit well on me. Thanks

  15. Hey Chris

Story of the year ” KLM experience to Ghana”. I loved this story so much because of the way you stoodup to KLM and their terrible service. I have experienced something like when i flew with this particular airline and you used your blog to put them in check. Thank you so much for that.

Favorite Actor John Dumelo and that is not only because of his looks but because he is a hardworking and ambitious businessman.  He is into charity, investments, estates, hotels and several ventures. His drive motivates me and am so proud of my fellow people working hard.

I know how to rock a dress not only do i have the curves for it but this is a dress that glows very well in the summer all i just need to do is apply a bronze/golden cream with my gladiator boots and that  will make me standout as the African queen that i am. A dress is not only for wearing sake it is a form of art and part of your identity.

    Yours truly,

    Sarah

  16. My favorite Ghanaian celebrity is Lydia forson.
I choose Lydia because she’s a very talented actress, her actions and mannerisms in movies are not overdone and she makes acting seem so effortless.secondly,i love the way she adores her body and flaunts it even when other ladies are desperately sliming down.lastly her natural hair depicts self confidence.
My favorite story is the Yvonne nelson and Karen igho saga.
I deserve to win because my day is never complete without GC.

  17. 1. my favourite Gh celebrity is Lydia Forson. she has a wicked sense of humour, is not ”bitchy”, neither a snob. very down to earth, she acts well. more importantly she has not bleached, and she has accepted her body size and doesnt starve to look slim. for me that is a good thing because not everyone can be a size 0-10.
    2. the story that caught my attention this year has to be the Emelia shoplifting saga. the denials, accusations and counters gave me news to read for a couple of weeks.
    3. i should win this dress because my birthday is on 26th dec and that would be an excellent present.

  18. My Favorite Ghanaian celebrity is FUNNYFACE!! he is such a humble and God-fearing guy. If you ever listen to him speak, he always gives thanks to God, for how far he has brought him. He’s always ready to entertain and chat with his fans on twitter and even skype. He takes constructive criticism very well and he just makes me happy on gloomy days.

The story that caught my attention the most this year was the Nii Odartey Lamptey paternity saga. It really hit home because a close friend of mine is also going through something similar to that, and it got me thinking, that this is very common in Ghana, but its never brought to light and apparently now theres a “mad rush” for paternity tests in Ghana.

I believe i deserve to win this dress because honestly 2013 has been a horrible year for me and i just need some cheering up and pampering and i feel that can be done by winning this dress. Imma rock it nicely with some shoes i Just bought and if i win it, i will definitely take a pic of me in it, and send it to you to show my fellow readers how i rocked it!! 🙂

  21. Hello GC,

For starters, Majid Michel is the celebrity I like the most. In my perspective he is one of the most humble and real celebrities in Ghana. He brings great energy to all the movies he stars in and his acting is impressive. I have observed on occasion that Majid maintains a friendly disposition towards his fans, is ever ready to take photographs with them and happily signs autographs. The passionate actor that is seen on-screen is basically the same man you meet in person; his off-camera, affable nature appeals to me.

The story that caught my attention on GC the most this year was the one on the couple that broke up because they couldn’t agree on what to do with their over £100 million lottery win. I initially laughed it off but upon reading the entire article and reflecting on it I was reminded of an epiphany which has stuck with me since. In as much as deciding how to split the money may have put a strain on their marriage the marriage would not have dissolved if it was a solid one and their selfish desires of how to spend the money independently had not taken over. Then again, their selfish desires were able to take over probably because their foundation of love/commitment/attachment was a weak one and there was no authentic love to begin with. Sometimes people may stay in relationships just because they may feel they have no better options. They may feel life has nothing better to offer but the minute “greener pastures” are thrust upon them they lose that need for co-dependence, they lose the desire for what they had perceived to be “love” and they are finally capable of going their own way. I do not think the inability to decide on what to do with the money was what pulled the couple apart deep down but rather the fact that the minute they were empowered by the money it dawned on them that they did not need each other to survive anymore and could cope on their own. It reminded me of my own situation back in the day when I was so limited in my scope as to the dynamics of relationships. I stayed in a terrible relationship for “fear” of not being able to get better(I had temporarily forgotten the world is filled with billions of good men). Thankfully a change in environment and attitude helped me come to terms with the reality of that dreadful relationship which lacked authentic foundations of love and I gained independence away from it. Thus, the article appealed to me on a personal level.

Saying I am an avid reader of the GC blog may not necessarily suffice to prove that I deserve to win the dress as everyone can sincerely sing that same tune. This dress not only looks stunning on Yvonne but is impeccably designed too. Seeing as this is my first Christmas away from home- I just moved to the UK two months ago for studies – this dress would certainly be a lovely gift to win for Christmas. Even more so knowing that I won it among other equally-deserving people. If I do not win it though I hope whichever damsel gets to win this dress rocks it to the max and that it makes her feel every bit of the queen that she is when she wears it! All the best ladies. xx

Her mannerism and versatile nature makes me keeping loving and buying her movies…to be honest I really enjoy watching local movies but her absence in a movie makes it sound like yn bleaching..lol which I detest…Obviously the story that caught my attention was yn phone threat “small girls Abr3 rufff” I guess this should have been the perfect caption for the story @Chris.
