Peace-maker Kwasi Aboagye of Peace Fm Washes Hands Off From Samini-Shatta Wale Reconciliation Court

For some time now, host of Peace 104.3 fm’s ‘Entertainment Review,’ Kwasi Aboagye, has been doing series of reconciliations between beefing personalities in our entertainment industry and could have slapped a trademark I call the Entertainment-Arbiter, but…

Kwasi Aboagye has been able to make peace (is it because he works with Peace fm?) between personalities such as: Blakk Rasta and Wanluv Kubolor, Lord Kenya and Okraku Mantey, and Kontihene and Kwaw Kesse in recent times.

Stretching his reconciliation proclivity wider, Kwasi this time round wanted to tackle long standing foes Samini and Bandana aka Shatta Wale. On Saturday 1st Feb, 2014, Kwasi hosted Samini and asked the latter if he will be ready to smoke the peace pipe with Bandana to finally make good the long standing feud that has existed between them.

Samini admitted he does not mind and would even wish it’s done on live television. Kwasi Aboagye called Bandana and he also admitted longing to meet Samini so they settle whatever scores they have, once his managers agree so.

This week, Shatta Wale shared on social media that he is not interested in meeting Samini for any reconciliation. On ‘Entertainment Review’ yesterday, Thursday 6th Feb, 2014, Kwasi interviewed Bandana’s manager, Bull Dog. Bull made it clear that they (management of Bandana) are ever ready to make peace with Samini.

Samini’s manager, Tony, was also called into the progamme but he rather came in to rain innuendos and allegations at Bull Dog; thereby setting the enmity flame ablaze once again. Crestfallen Kwasi said he is no more going to continue with the peace making exercise and pleaded his producer brings him water to wash off his hands from the whole Samini-Bandana reconciliation court.

Though the panelists on the programme as well as the listeners lauded Kwasi and urged him not to give up on what he has started, Kwasi heeded not to their remarks.

Some few minutes after the phone-in segment, Bandana was put on the line and he too came to muddy the hatred waters more. “He (Samini) has now come to his senses to make peace with me? Dancehall comes with such attitudes! If Samini can’t stand it he should switch to highlife music!

“Do you know the kind of pains Samini has made me go through? Because of Samini I went hungry for 10 years! For 10 years I could buy a shoe or dress for my mother! I don’t want the media to talk about me and him!” At this moment, Kwasi Aboagye heaved a deep sigh of relief and said “this is where I end this case. Trust me; I will not go on with this case.”

Kwasi continued: “this is the last time I will call Bandana or Samini on this show. If I will interview Bandana on this platform, it will not be about him and Samini and if I will interview Samini on this platform, it will definitely be about him and Shatta Wale.”

Oh Kwasi! So you didn’t have the balls after all for this Godly assignment?

Bro, you disappoint me paa oo! Well, let me coolly take back the title – Entertainment-Arbiter I once promised you on Neat fm.

For how long should this affray between Samini and Shatta Wale go on? And who can seat them down and let them smoke the peace pipe? We live to see. Until then…MOTWUM!!
