A video has surfaced online of 3 young girls crawling on the floor with people saying, the incident took place at the Accra Mall and the 3 girls were made to crawl on their knees for allegedly stealing some panties….
What I find disturbing about the video is the fact that, security officers can be spotted in it—and they were actually doing nothing to end the humiliation and total disregard of the law.
Who said the fact that someone has stolen means the person forfeits all his/her rights and dignity—and that the person can be treated anyhow?
As someone rightly said; if you want to establish how civilize a population is; just look at how they treat the minority and their women.

Well crawling on their knees is far better than being beaten. Am not saying how they treated them is right but in most theft cases, you get beaten mercilessly.
I dont feel sorry for them though.

It’s a shame to see what was done to these three ladies. It goes to show the mindset we have in the nation. No wonder we can’t progress. Yes they stole something but you let the appropriate authority deal with the issue not ridicule them in public. To think it happened at the Accra Mall with all foreigners who will be passing through saw this, they would say we are barbarians indeed. I am very disappointed with any senior authority and security stuff at the mall who watched on as these girls were made to crawl. A country that claims to be a Christian country too. Tweaaa with this mindset the country will keep suffering. Again a big SHAME!!!!!!!!
